00:00I believe it's your 700th game as a Premier League manager, how does that make you feel?
00:04I've just been told that actually and I think to myself it's incredible really,
00:09when you start out I don't think you ever believe that you're maybe never going to become a Premier
00:12League manager but to get 700 games behind me now it's a fair achievement so very pleased.
00:20There's two great managers ahead of me in Arsene and Alex but I don't think I'll be
00:25making their numbers that's for sure. You're up against the youngest manager in the Premier
00:29League at the moment as well this weekend, I'm just looking at the age difference it's 30 years
00:33and when you first took over here at Everton, the oldest manager then was Sir Bobby Robson,
00:37again the difference between the two was 30. It's amazing at that time, I think I was the
00:42youngest one when I came in at that time as well and I remember Sir Bobby giving me a few wise
00:47words as well and so it's amazing how it's changed around and I've been really fortunate,
00:52really lucky in my career that I've been given the opportunities to be at clubs and get 700 games.
00:58Didn't Sir Bobby give you a welcome to the Premier League?
01:00He did actually, Sir Bobby said to me, we lost quite heavily at Newcastle and we had actually
01:06won the first couple of games, the opening games when I took over. I think he must have thought
01:10that I felt it was a bit easier and he did, he said to me it's a welcome to the Premier League
01:16for David Moyes and quite right and I listened to him right away because I went oh this is the real
01:22deal with this, I've got to get my act together here.
