00:00We were preparing for a little bit of a cheaper trend going off the back of recent sales last week in the Western Districts and bits of Baseton.
00:07I think we've held up pretty well on our breeder heifers, like those good runs of black heifers to go back out into the paddock to put a ball with.
00:16We've seen at $3.40 to $3.50, so $11.50 to $12.50, $13.00 and obviously topping out at $14.00 for some exceptional heifers there.
00:27Then to step back into those heifers to put back out, we've still seen them hovering around $3.00 to $3.20.
00:37At $700 to $900 you can throw a blanket over most of your black calves to put out and do a job with.
00:46Then you step back into your coloured cattle and stuff like that, and that's probably where you really start to see a price spreading difference.
00:55You're back to $700s, $800s and $2.60s and $2.70s for those coloured cattle, so that's where we're really starting to see the price spread in the blacks.
