Transcript
00:00Today we've announced an additional $55 million for drought support and it's designed to both
00:04help farmers who are obviously doing it really tough at the moment with an expansion of the
00:09on-farm infrastructure grants as well as for those who qualify assistance with things like
00:15emergency services levy and commercial vehicle registration and also small grants for those who
00:20need it to be able to get through the day-to-day expenses so that they can still have a future in
00:25the industry. We've also looked at a mental health and also related to that it's around
00:31community cohesion as well because all of the communities that are in farming areas in drought
00:36affected areas are of course also feeling you know what the tough times mean so there's additional
00:41assistance for for regional towns there's additional assistance for small businesses
00:46that aren't necessarily farming businesses in addition to what we're providing for those
00:50farming businesses and farming families.
