00:00The streets in some parts of Liloan, Southern Leyte, were divided after the Maguichid 5.8 earthquake hit.

00:13Some parts of Southern Leyte were hit by a landslide after the Maguichid 5.8 earthquake hit.

00:20In the images shared by a resident in Liloan, Southern Leyte,

00:24you can see that the streets here were divided.

00:27The shops in this store were damaged.

00:30The cases of alcohol and soft drinks were also scattered.

00:33The inside of the house was also in a mess after the landslide.

00:36Based on the Feebox data, at 7 in the morning, a landslide hit 11 kilometers below.

00:42The center of the landslide was recorded in the town of San Francisco in Southern Leyte,

00:47where the intensity of the landslide was recorded in Intensity 6.

00:51Intensity 5 was felt in various towns in the province, including Ubay, Bohol.

00:55There were buildings that were cracked and even roads.

01:00There were also earthquake-induced landslides.

01:02What happened here was an active fault west of Panaon Island in the sea.

01:10It's 11 kilometers below, but the Maguichid 5.8 earthquake cannot produce a tsunami.

01:16Usually, our tsunami would be around 7 and above.

01:20As of 1.30 p.m., according to Feebox, 73 aftershocks were recorded,

01:25with a magnitude of 1.6 to 2.9.

01:28But none of these were felt.

01:30Before noon, past 11.30 p.m.,

01:33the Maguichid 5.4 landslide hit the area of Siocon, Zamboanga del Norte.

01:38The Feebox first recorded a landslide at Maguichid 6.1,

01:42but it was downgraded after recalculation.

01:44Intensity 5 was found in Siocon, Zamboanga del Norte,

01:48Ipil, Zamboanga Cebugay, and the city of Isabela.

01:5143 kilometers is considered as a deep earthquake and the source of it would be the Cebu Trench.

01:58When you say Intensity 5, it's a bit strong.

02:05Intensity 5 is considered as strong and generally felt by most people indoors and outdoors.

02:13And the hanging objects would swing violently.

02:19As of 1.30 p.m., two aftershocks were recorded here,

02:22with a magnitude of 2.1 being the strongest here.
