00:00The one thing that we do always talk about is how long can those Super Bowl win those
00:04actually last and for Detroit Dan Campbell, we got a clip here and he's going to try to
00:08explain that.
00:09Yeah, I do.
00:10I do, man.
00:11I, you know, I think that's, you know, we talk about that core, that core group is still
00:15intact and some of these guys are now, you know, we've signed some back, some are up
00:19on contracts and that'll be ongoing.
00:23But yeah, we absolutely do, you know, and I think the most important thing is you want
00:26them to know you got your culture, you got your identity and you got players and that
00:32fit into that.
00:33And we've got that.
00:34Like we've got, we got players in every pivotal position you can ask for to have success.
00:41And those guys are made the right way.
00:43So absolutely.
00:44Our window is open.
00:46There you go.
00:47You wouldn't expect anything less from Dan Campbell.
00:48Say, ah, man's window shut and looking for my next job.
00:51At this point, there's a lot of talent still in that room, but the credit goes to Dan Campbell
00:56for being the head coach.
00:57Yes, he cultivated that culture that turns out, you know what, we could have a pretty
01:01good foundation for a franchise that hasn't seen a lot of success over the past 50 years
01:05or so.
01:06But a lot of that success also, Joe, went to Ben Johnson, the creative offensive coordinator
01:11that's now not going to be in that building.
01:13And also there is a defensive coordinator we'll get to is probably leading as well.
01:18Talk to me about your thought process now with Detroit moving forward, at least without
01:21Ben Johnson today.
01:25Well, the problem is we're going to learn rather quickly whether or not Ben Johnson
01:30was responsible for the resurgence of Jared Goff or if Jared Goff is, you know, played
01:39a big role in helping him execute that offense.
01:42I think that's still to be determined here.
01:46But I can tell you this, they are, and I agree with Dan Campbell, they have the things that
01:51matter most for an organization to have success long term are the things he talked about.
01:57You have an identity, you have the players, you have a culture in place.
02:02We have seen that work, consistency works.
02:06So now what we've got to see from Dan Campbell in this front office is the ability to replace,
02:12you know, the Ben Johnsons or, you know, the defensive coordinator if he leaves.
02:18You've got to be able to plug and play those guys.
02:21Baltimore's done it, Harbaugh's done it for years, and it seems to work.
02:26And they still find themselves in the playoffs.
02:28So that's the next step here for Dan Campbell in Detroit is that if these coordinators were
02:34that good, that it was all about them, well, then you better make sure their replacements
02:40are every bit as good here and can motivate these guys.
02:43So I think the hiring of the replacements is that next step to figure out whether Dan
02:49Campbell and Detroit and that window is still open.
