00:00ASEAN Ministers also expressed support for Tan Sri Osman Hashim as the Special Envoy
00:11for ASEAN Chair on Myanmar in fulfilling his mandate.
00:16Stop the hostility, stop the violence, and make sure the humanitarian aid can be sent
00:23through without injury.
00:25So the rest of these five points of success is OK.
00:29And later on, we will want to see that Myanmar will be back on the fully democratic government
00:35elected by the people.
00:36Very simple.
00:38But only difficulty is for them to stop the violence, stop what you call it, oppressing
00:46their own people.
00:47That's all.
00:48One thing that we know, they want to have election.
00:49But we told them, election is not a priority at the moment.
00:53The priority now is to cease fire, and everybody has to stand down.
00:59That is important.
01:00And access to all sectors on humanitarian aid in Myanmar.
01:07Very simple.
01:08And I don't think that is a very difficult task for them to fulfill.
01:13And if they have to, they have to fulfill and also their obligation as a member of ASEAN.
01:21The permanent secretary of Myanmar, who represents the country, briefed ASEAN foreign minister
01:29on the situation, including the plan to organize election.
01:33But he did not indicate when the election will take place.
01:38But of course, the concern is that the priority is on the full implementation of the five-point
01:45consensus.
01:46It still remains relevant.
01:49And the ASEAN foreign minister would like to see a cessation of violence and to promote
01:56inclusive political dialogue.
01:58All stakeholders should be involved.
02:01Though I think it's clear that Myanmar represent heard clearly what the ASEAN foreign minister
02:09have conveyed to Myanmar, that once again, the five-point consensus will be implemented
02:16in full.
02:17And second, of course, that our interest is to see Myanmar return to peace and stability.
02:26And of course, the process before February 2021.
02:35And of course, I can say that some ASEAN foreign ministers have called for the release of Madam
02:40Aung San Suu Kyi as well.
