00:00A very good evening once again Sadler's fans and I'm inside the Beskott where Walsall have just cruised to a 4-2 victory over MK Dons to extend that club record winning streak in the league to nine games.
00:19Matt Sadler made one change from last weekend's record-breaking victory over Tramier Rovers as Nathan Lowe following his recall by Stoke City was replaced by Albert Adoma which meant Walsall had an attacking front two with a combined age of 72.
00:42But there was great energy from the Sadlers who made a strong start really. First 10 minutes posed the biggest attacking threat but they were caught on the break by MK Dons as Scott Hogan found himself in behind at the Sadler's defence, chopped onto his right foot and beat Tommy Simpkin at his near post.
01:05But Walsall responded well to fall in behind and they were level after 32 minutes when Taylor Allen's corner was spilled by MK Dons goalkeeper Tom McGill and David Icagbue pounced inside the six yard box to scramble the ball over the line.
01:24Walsall flew out of the traps in the second half. Within 25 seconds of the restart Liam Gordon had fired Walsall into the lead. Connor Brower broke down the right-hand side, his cross was flicked on by Albert Adoma at the near post and Gordon brought the ball down and planted his half-volley into the bottom corner.
01:48Jamie Jellis had an effort saved and blocked from Taylor Allen's corner as he came close to Walsall's third and that third eventually arrived. Harry Williams started the move with a long throw into the box. MK Dons were unable to clear their lines. Williams continued to make his run into the box and Ryan Sturt worked the ball into his path and Williams applied a calm and composed finish into the far bottom corner.
02:16Walsall made it four later on with nine minutes to go. Albert Adoma got his name on the score sheet. Josh Gordon closed down the goalkeeper. McGill's pass out from the back was undercooked. Jamie Jellis pounced, got there first and was fouled but Albert Adoma played to the whistle and dinked the ball into the net.
02:39MK Dons did grab a late consolation through substitute Thompson Summers who fired a lovely finish into the top corner from around 20 yards out but Walsall made it nine wins in a row, retained that 12-point lead at the summit. It's now 16 games unbeaten as well for them in League Two. So life without Nathan Lowe continued as Walsall put on a show.
