George Bennett discusses Mat Sadler's pre-Bolton press conference.
Transcript
00:00Good evening Sadler's fans, I was at Essenton earlier today where I spoke to Matt Sadler
00:04ahead of Walsall's FA Cup first round tie against League One outfit, Bolton Wanderers
00:10on Saturday. Walsall flying high in League Two in second spot after eight wins from their
00:18opening 13 games. Bolton meanwhile have recovered from a poor start to the season to collect
00:24six wins from their last eight, which has propelled them into the playoff spot in the
00:28third tier. Matt Sadler talks about wanting to make more memories in the FA Cup. Walsall
00:35last season defeated Sheppey United in Alfredstown in non-league to set up a plumb tie against
00:42Southampton at St Mary's and of course there was a tie in the fourth round against Leicester
00:49City at the best got under Michael Flynn. Also talked about, you know, surely the games
00:55earlier in the season where they knocked out Exeter City in Huddersfield Town of League
01:00One in the Carabao Cup and drew Premier League Leicester City very close with a goalless
01:05draw before falling out of the competition in agonising fashion on penalties. The draw
01:11against Birmingham City in the EFL Trophy, how much confidence that that will give the
01:16players and Matt Sadler talks about how that's part of their story, but those games will
01:21be irrelevant once they step over that white line on Saturday. No changes on the team front,
01:28just the fact that Priestley Farquharson and Josh Gordon are back at the training ground
01:32but still expected to be out until mid-January.
