21:55And give to Allah a goodly loan, and multiply it for him many times.
22:20Welcome dear viewers.
22:22As usual, Qari Sahab has recited Surah Baqarah verses 243 to 245 in a beautiful voice.
22:32Let's see its translation and then we will move to its commentary.
22:35Allah Pak has said,
22:37Did you not see those who left their homes in fear of death?
22:43Allah said to them, Die!
22:46Then Allah brought them back to life.
22:48Indeed, Allah is the possessor of bounty for the people, but most of the people do not recognize Him.
22:53And fight in the cause of Allah and know that Allah has spoken the truth.
23:02And give to Allah a goodly loan, and multiply it for him many times.
23:10And Allah is the possessor of bounty for the people, but most of the people do not recognize Him.
23:14And give to Allah a goodly loan, and multiply it for him many times.
23:19Dear viewers, as we mentioned earlier,
23:22Allah mentioned the Bani Israel in the middle of Surah Baqarah.
23:30In that, Jihad and Infaq were the basic things.
23:33Spending in the cause of Allah and Jihad.
23:36In the middle of Surah Baqarah, the things related to spending,
23:43like the mention of widows,
23:45the spending of husband and wife,
23:51and the commandments that were born out of it,
23:54like the spending of fasts,
23:58and the things that were related to it,
24:00were all mentioned in Surah Baqarah.
24:03This is the style of the Holy Qur'an,
24:05that the things that are related to it,
24:08are mentioned in Surah Baqarah,
24:10and then the actual topic is discussed.
24:12So, the period of commandments was completed in the middle,
24:17and in the end, the mention of fasting was mentioned.
24:21After that, the topic of Bani Israel,
24:25which was being discussed from the beginning,
24:27was brought up again.
24:30In that, Allah has pointed to an incident,
24:36and the incident in the Holy Qur'an,
24:39can be explained in two ways.
24:43We take the verse with us and point to both.
24:47Allah says,
24:48Did you not see, O Prophet, those who came out of their homes,
24:54and they were thousands,
24:57and they came out of the fear of death.
25:00Now, what is this incident?
25:02Who were those people,
25:03who came out of the fear of death?
25:06And what does it mean to come out?
25:08And what was this stage?
25:13So, there is a saying,
25:15that in Bani Israel,
25:17the disease of Ta'un became contagious.
25:21So, when a disease of Ta'un becomes contagious in a place,
25:25then the commandment there is,
25:27that you should not move from that place.
25:29Even today, in the world, it is practiced,
25:32that you should stay in the area you are in.
25:34You should not go from one area to another.
25:37Because it will shift to the other side.
25:39So, you should quarantine there.
25:42You should separate from there.
25:44So, it is said that the disease of Ta'un became contagious,
25:48and they came out of the fear of death.
25:51That Ta'un has come here,
25:53now leave this place.
25:54So, they went far away and stayed in a jungle.
25:58So, Allah said to them,
26:00die!
26:02So, they came out of the fear of death.
26:05You are so afraid of death.
26:08So, Allah said, die!
26:10So, they died.
26:13They came out to save their lives,
26:15and they died.
26:17Then Allah gave them life.
26:21Their Prophet passed away from there,
26:24and they prayed to Allah to give them life.
26:31So, Allah gave them life.
26:34So, Allah gave them a lesson,
26:36a punishment,
26:38and then Allah blessed them,
26:40with the means of the Prophet,
26:41with the means of their prayers.
26:43And then Allah said,
26:46No doubt, Allah is blessed with people,
26:50but most people are not grateful.
26:52So, after going through this stage,
26:54in the next verse, Allah said to them,
26:59If you want to save your life like this,
27:02and if you are afraid,
27:03then how will you be able to do Jihad?
27:05In the way of Allah, you have to do Jihad.
27:07So, one incident is described like this,
27:10which the commentator wrote,
27:12I mentioned it in front of you.
27:14The second aspect is that,
27:16the meaning of these verses is,
27:21that those people who left their homes,
27:24in thousands,
27:26fearing death.
27:28He says that the fear of death,
27:30some commentators say,
27:32means that they have to leave the field of Jihad.
27:36They have to be born with wrong customs.
27:40It was not Ta'oon,
27:42it was their wrong customs.
27:44It was their invention,
27:47because of which,
27:49where there was the vision of a prophet,
27:52they left their area,
27:54that the enemy will attack here.
27:57And at that time,
27:58in Palestine,
27:59there was an infidel force,
28:01they attacked the Israelites,
28:04and they had emptied many areas.
28:07This is what Allah said,
28:10So, it was a long piece of land,
28:14which they had pushed out,
28:17and because of fear,
28:19they were leaving their land.
28:25So Allah said to them,
28:26die.
28:27This life of yours,
28:29is of no use.
28:31It is equivalent to death.
28:34If a person lives in fear,
28:36then it is like death.
28:40Then Allah,
28:41through the advice of the prophet at that time,
28:44and through preaching,
28:46He breathed a new soul into them.
28:49So, the dead soul,
28:51is a dead person.
28:55Like Allah said to the infidels,
29:00and said to them,
29:01that they are dead,
29:02the infidels.
29:03So, if the soul is dead,
29:05then the person is called dead.
29:06So, that dead is meant.
29:08Then, through Hazrat Shamul,
29:12they were preached,
29:14they were explained,
29:16a new soul was breathed into them,
29:18the spirit of Jihad was awakened in them,
29:21and it is said that,
29:22their children grew up,
29:25they understood this command,
29:29and then they fought the enemy.
29:34Then Allah gave them life,
29:37He gave them life,
29:39and then they stood up against the infidels,
29:42and at that time,
29:43they were victorious.
29:44So, I have put these two commentaries in front of you.
29:47Indeed, Allah is most gracious to mankind.
29:49Indeed, Allah is most gracious to mankind.
29:52But most of the people are not grateful.
29:54But most of the people are not grateful.
29:57This was verse number 243.
29:59Then in verse 244, it is said,
30:01And fight in the cause of Allah.
30:03Now, the command here,
30:04the foundation of Jihad,
30:06that has come.
30:07And fight in the cause of Allah.
30:09In short,
30:10Fight in the cause of Allah.
30:11And know that Allah is All-Hearing, All-Knowing.
30:14And know that Allah is All-Hearing, All-Knowing.
30:18In this,
30:20from this verse,
30:22the stage at which it was being revealed,
30:24the people on whom it was being revealed,
30:26the people who were commanded to recite it,
30:28they were the Muslims who had migrated.
30:32Even in front of them,
30:34this thing had come as an advice.
30:37And it was something that encouraged them.
30:40See, the previous nations,
30:42they used to leave their homes in fear.
30:44They used to leave their cities in fear.
30:47But the situation of you people is not like that.
30:50You people,
30:52according to the command of Allah,
30:54as long as Allah has said that you have to stay there,
30:57you let them go there.
30:59You sacrificed everything.
31:01As long as Allah has said,
31:03you did not leave Mecca.
31:05Yes, at the stage at which Allah has said to you,
31:08that now you have to leave Mecca,
31:10then you left Mecca in accordance with the command of Allah.
31:14Then you came to Medina.
31:16But these Bani Israel,
31:18they used to leave the cities in the same way.
31:21That no, we do not want to live here anymore.
31:24So this was a difference of history coming in front of them.
31:27Which was encouraging them.
31:29That they,
31:30as long as Allah has said that you have to stay in Mecca,
31:33you have to strengthen the back of the Prophet,
31:36that is, you have to strengthen their army,
31:38then they stood there.
31:40The family of Ammar let them go.
31:42The family of Yasir let them go.
31:44Bilal-e-Habshi,
31:45the companions of Rumi,
31:47Abu Bakr-e-Siddiq, may Allah be pleased with him.
31:50All the people,
31:52faced all kinds of problems.
31:54But they stood there with steadfastness.
31:57They did not leave the city of Mecca.
31:59Then when the time came for the scheme of Allah,
32:02that now Allah has said that this army is ready,
32:05and after taking a step back,
32:07there will be a confrontation with the disbelievers at a different place.
32:11So for that,
32:12let's say that
32:13it was a matter of changing the tent.
32:16So they came to Medina in a changed tent.
32:18So they came according to the command of Allah.
32:20They left without the command of Allah.
32:24And at that time,
32:25it was obligatory to leave.
32:27The migration was obligatory at that time.
32:30So these incidents of the Israelites,
32:32on the one hand,
32:33were also a source of encouragement for the people of Medina,
32:36that how much patience Allah gave us,
32:38how much success he gave,
32:40the companionship of the Prophet,
32:42the loyalty of the Prophet,
32:44and we stood with the loyalty of the Prophet.
32:47Then in the last verse which we read today,
32:49there is a command of Jihad.
32:51I told you that in Surah Baqarah,
32:53Jihad and Infaq,
32:55spending in the way of Allah,
32:57both these commands are followed together in this Surah.
32:59So see,
33:00in the next verse,
33:01the same command came,
33:02and on this,
33:03we will talk further in detail,
33:04Infaq fee Sabeelillah.
33:06It is said,
33:07Man zal lazee yuqridullaha qardan hasanan
33:10Who is it who gives Allah a good loan?
33:12How great is his kindness,
33:14that his wealth,
33:16he has given,
33:18his servants,
33:19whatever his servants have,
33:21everything is his.
33:22But despite that,
33:24he adopts such an expression,
33:26in which wealth is his responsibility.
33:29Although his responsibilities are not obligatory.
33:32When a person says,
33:33give me a loan,
33:34it means that
33:35that loan is obligatory on me,
33:37that I will return it to you.
33:39How great is Allah's kindness,
33:40that he says to his servants,
33:41you spend in my way,
33:42I make it obligatory on me,
33:44that I will give you.
33:45He is making it obligatory with his mercy and his kindness.
33:48That is,
33:49nothing is obligatory on him.
33:50He wants to tell his servants,
33:52how much he loves them.
33:54He takes each and every action of his,
33:56and weighs it on the scale of mercy.
33:59And in this expression,
34:01a very powerful thing,
34:02you see,
34:03I say to you,
34:05that
34:06that person will come to you,
34:10you give him five thousand rupees.
34:12You give him five thousand rupees.
34:14On my saying.
34:16So, I mean that
34:17I will return this to you.
34:19Now, you gave it on my saying,
34:20so you will not call him, right?
34:23You took it from me.
34:25You will call me,
34:26because you gave it on my saying.
34:28You have nothing to do with it.
34:31So, Allah says,
34:32give me the loan of kindness.
34:34That is,
34:35the servants you are giving,
34:36Allah says,
34:37it is a loan on me.
34:39What does it mean?
34:40That,
34:41do not give kindness to my servants.
34:44That,
34:45I have given it to you.
34:46You gave it to him,
34:47leave him now.
34:48End his talk.
34:49Talk to me.
34:50You gave it on my saying, right?
34:52I will bless you in this world as well.
34:54I will bless you in the hereafter as well.
35:00And not just what you have given,
35:02double it,
35:03multiply it,
35:07And then Allah says,
35:10Think about this as well.
35:11The reality is,
35:12that I am the one who gives,
35:15and I am the one who takes,
35:17and I am the one who stops.
35:18If you don't have it,
35:19then I have stopped you.
35:21Is there anyone to give?
35:23And if I give to you,
35:25then there is no one to stop.
35:27Everything is in my control.
35:29So, whatever condition you are in,
35:31if you have less or more,
35:33that is because of me.
35:34I have given you that much.
35:37So, there is nothing in your control.
35:40So, don't be ungrateful,
35:42and don't complain.
35:45This is not good for you.
35:48All this is in the hands of Allah.
35:50He has given it to you Himself,
35:52and He Himself demands from you
35:54to spend it on His servants,
35:56to spend it for Jihad,
35:58to spend it for the path of Allah.
36:00And you have to return to His court.
36:03The explanation of these verses
36:05has been completed, Alhamdulillah.
36:07And the time of Dars-e-Quran has also been completed.
36:10In the same way,
36:12stay connected with us in Dars-e-Quran.
36:14We will be back again with a new program.
36:17Take care of yourselves.
36:19Allah Hafiz, Nasir.
36:37Fatiha.
