A total of 49 individuals, including five local men, were arrested by the Johor Immigration Department during a large-scale enforcement operation dubbed "Ops Gegar" at four premises in Kluang on January 10.

00:08during a large-scale enforcement operation.
00:11The operation was conducted on January 10 by officers from the Enforcement Division
00:16at four premises in Kluang Johor.
00:19Among those arrested were five local men, believed to be the premises' caretakers,
00:23aged between 25 and 41.
00:26They are being detained for investigation for harboring illegal immigrants.
00:31Meanwhile, the foreign detainees included 27 Vietnamese women, three Indonesian men,
00:37nine Indonesian women, two Thai women, two Bangladeshi men, and one Nepali man.
00:44They are detained for suspected violations of the Immigration Act 1959 and Immigration
00:49Regulations 1963.
00:52All of them are currently placed at Setia Tropika Immigration Depot.
