00:00He was very proud of his team last night after the win.
00:04Okay guys, man, I'm really proud of our team tonight.
00:08I thought, you know, with everything that's going on with our community,
00:11everything that these guys have gone through,
00:13I thought they epitomized and they represented the city the right way.
00:16You talk about sports offering a platform for people to come together,
00:20offer a little bit of temporary relief,
00:22and I thought the way that our team competed tonight was what it looked like,
00:25to stay connected, to stay together, just to fight the spirit, the resilience,
00:29all the different things that are great traits that this team has really built
00:32through the challenges that they've gone through over the course of this season,
00:36and I'm really proud of them.
00:38I would love nothing more than to see them beat the Eagles.
00:42I'm serious.
00:45Look, I don't think it's completely impossible.
00:51Like, I don't think that the Vikings would have went there and won,
00:54but there's too much pedigree here.
00:59Like, there's too much winning that's happened with these guys.
01:03Like, these are not guys, it's not like Kevin O'Connell is now 0-2.
01:06Like, McVay and Stafford, they go and they win.
01:10And remember, they went last year to Detroit,
01:13and like Tampa, we always talk about how Tampa had Detroit on the ropes.
01:17The Rams played a real tight game with Detroit in that first round of the playoffs
01:22in Ford Field.
01:24So, you know, that's the only playoff game they've lost together.
01:27So, I could be in on the Rams this week going into Philadelphia,
01:32even though we've been talking the Eagles up so much.
01:36I think it's a good spot for the Rams,
01:38especially with the number that you're going to be getting.
01:40As far as Stafford, I just told you, 5-1 in the playoffs as the Rams quarterback,
01:4415 touchdowns in that span.
01:46How about 18-3 in December, January, and February as the Rams quarterback?
01:5218-3, that's what I'm talking about right there.
01:57I know they're a West Coast team,
01:59and I'm sure some of that 18 was on the East Coast in cold weather.
02:04I'm sure they didn't play all those games in the West Coast.
02:06There had to be a couple where they came East.
02:09Speaking of the Vikings, we have put them to bed.
02:11Kevin O'Connell has to answer some questions.
02:14You know, he's 13 wins two years ago, 14 wins this season, 0-2 in the playoffs.
02:19What do you say, Kev?
02:20Two out of three years, we've done the things that we wanted to do
02:23to get into the tournament.
02:26Last year I thought we overcame a lot
02:28and did not do enough in the end to get into the tournament.
02:31But these are one game eliminations,
02:35and if you don't find a way to play well in those 60 minutes against the type of teams
02:38you're going to play in January, Ben, you're going to lose.
02:41So I think it's very, very – I understand the question,
02:46and I appreciate the question and the big picture thought process
02:51of the results driving that question.
02:54But what I've got to do is make sure that I continue to reinforce the process we have here,
02:59the teams we've built up from the inside out of that locker room
03:02being the strongest point of our organization.
03:04And then when it comes time to make sure we're improving in the areas we need to,
03:09we're ready to do that against the best teams in this league.
03:12Except they aren't.
03:15They're not.
03:16It's 0-2 in that department.
03:19So listen, you can wish upon a star.
03:22I guess that's what Kevin's going to do.
03:24And he's due, I believe, for some new money and some new contracts up in Minnesota,
03:29which he should get with what he's done so far.
