00:00Let's talk about last night's game again.
00:02The Rams beat the Vikings 30 to 20 on Thursday Night Football.
00:05Stafford threw for 279, four tutties a pick.
00:09Darnold was pretty, you know, effective himself, 242 tutties.
00:14Kyron Williams, 97 yards, a 19 receiving,
00:20and a red zone tutty.
00:22Pukashells, 106 yards.
00:26Kup, five catches, 51 yards, a tutty.
00:28Demarcus Robinson, 35 yards, two tutties.
00:32Justin Jefferson recorded his 31st game
00:35with 100-plus receiving yards in his first five seasons
00:39to pass Randy Moss.
00:42Here's Sam Darnold getting sacked in the end zone
00:45for a safety and an uncalled face mask miss
00:49by the refs on Amazon Prime.
00:52Darnold, look out, safety.
00:56Kyron Young takes him down to the end zone.
01:03Rams seal it.
01:06They had two, and it's 30 to 20.
01:09Now, I thought the face mask, something happened to Darnold.
01:12Maybe he grabbed underneath and got the jersey,
01:15but something made Darnold, his head go back with his pressure.
01:19Remember, he said the left side
01:21is where this pressure's going to come from.
01:23Fist takes the tackle.
01:25Young works through, and he got a hold of something there.
01:30Let's see.
01:31Yeah, I got to tell you, Cam, that they don't miss very much
01:35because they throw so many flags.
01:37It's amazing to me that on a play that deep in the red zone,
01:42that deep near the end zone,
01:44that much trouble that you're in in that position,
01:49that the refs would screw that up.
01:51I think he definitely got his face mask
01:54and his head yanked off, and they missed it.
01:57Oh, big time. Like, I was looking at him going,
01:58oh, my God, how's his neck doing?
01:59It was a big face mask.
02:01And you see the line judge there, Scott.
02:02He's right behind him. What was he looking at?
02:05Like, you know what I mean? I couldn't believe it either.
02:07And it's kind of weird that you can't challenge these things,
02:10but that's the way the league likes it.
02:11I like, they like controversy, but that was ridiculous.
02:13Like, Darnold, like, he, that was a huge face mask,
02:16and I don't know how they missed it.
02:18All right, Kevin O'Connell talking about
02:21the sack in the end zone and what he saw.
02:23Here's the Vikings coach.
02:24Yeah, you know, it looked like he got
02:26a pretty good amount of face mask there.
02:29Not going to get into, you know,
02:32the call or no call and all that stuff.
02:34It's just, I told our team, officiating and all that stuff,
02:39for us to talk about that, for us to seek comfort in that,
02:43is not how we're going to respond to this.
02:44It's just not going to happen,
02:46and I'm going to do the same thing right now.
02:48I really don't have a comment on whether it was a,
02:50it looked like he got a piece of the face mask,
02:52but they didn't think so, so they didn't throw the flag.
02:55That's funny.
02:57I'm not going to talk about it being a face mask,
02:58but I'm going to say that he had a big piece of his face mask.
03:02Exactly. But I like O'Connell, though.
03:04It's a smart move because some of these guys
03:06bitch at the referees all the time.
03:07Maybe they'll get a call their way if he stays cool
03:10because a lot of guys just rip these guys all the time.
03:13Yeah, I don't think so.
03:14The NFL never does anything to the refs.
03:17They think they're wonderful. Meanwhile, they suck.
03:20Here's Sean McVay talking about cup.
03:23There's a lot of information. Here's what I'll tell you.
03:25Teams reached out.
03:26Some of the things that I've seen out there,
03:28they're just not true.
03:30You know, we've addressed that with those individuals.
03:32Teams have called about him,
03:36and really, we let him know what the dialogue was there,
03:39and then there's a lot of stuff out there
03:41where there's not a lot of accountability to the reports,
03:43and that's unfortunate.
03:44Do you think the performance tonight
03:46makes you guys more apt to keep,
03:49to possibly entertain off the bench?
03:51I don't think about those things.
03:53I think about coaching our team.
03:54You know, I think a lot of the things
03:55that were out there, speculation,
03:56was exactly what that was.
03:59Speculation. We're an inside-out organization.
04:02Well, what I've heard is with the accountability
04:05and the speculation from now on,
04:07what they're going to do is any report that is erroneous,
04:11that reporter will be beheaded.
04:13They're going to actually do it in a town square.
04:16I like it.
04:18So everyone can watch it just like in the days of...
04:20These reports are BS, though.
