00:19After three days of the World Festival of the Anti-Fascist International,
00:23on Monday finished the International Congress of Communication
00:26with an anti-fascist, anti-colonial, anti-patriarchal and anti-imperialist agenda.
00:31Its objective is to be part of constructing a new world.
00:35Our communication intended to recreate the narratives for changing the world,
00:43changing the subjectivities, the identities,
00:46changing the living people, creating the new states, the new utopias,
00:57the new forms to be people, to be humanity.
01:03More than 400 delegates from 100 countries came together for two days.
01:07Their battlefield, communication, networks and the so-called social media owned by Western corporations.
01:13In eight workshops they discussed ideas and proposals with concrete outcomes.
01:18We decided to make an executive secretary to work permanently,
01:24not just in Venezuela, also in each other country that is getting over here.
01:30A number of decisions were taken.
01:32Delegates agreed to establish the Hugo Chavez International People's Communication Award.
01:38The first grantee are the more than 100 Palestinian journalists
01:41who lost their lives in Israel's attacks.
01:47Imperialism's walls cannot be an obstacle against the communication and development
01:51of the peoples that love independence, peace and justice.
01:55This Congress is a beacon and a window for us.
02:02Creating the network of the networks established was a permanent secretariat
02:06within the International University of Communication,
02:09an international team of researchers and the plan of action for the creation of media content.
