00:00Regarding the amendment to the double license plate law, the Bicameral Conference Committee agreed that there will be one license plate for each motorcycle and there will be no more RFID.

00:12The details of the national news was reported by Daniel Manalastas of PTV Manila.

00:18There will be one license plate for motorcycles. This is the agreement of the Bicameral Conference Committee regarding the amendment to the double license plate law.

00:26Another agreement is that there will be no more RFID.

00:29There will be no more license plates in the front, only in the back.

00:31We have about nine million back down.

00:35It's better if everyone has a license plate than if two people don't have one.

00:40Senator JV Ejercito said that the LTO had a problem with the RFID and the plate number is enough.

00:47The LTO themselves said that there is a problem with the RFID.

00:53At the same time, they said that the plate number alone is enough for the enforcers to verify the veracity of the identification.

01:08It's not about the backlog on the license plate.

01:10The initial commitment was June 2025, but the more realistic commitment of the part of the LTO is June 2026.

02:27They will know that it's discounted if I tell them where to go.

02:33For example, if I tell them it's a school and you're a student, it will be hard to get a booking.
