00:00Good news, the discount on Meralko's electricity this January is still possible to be followed by the next bond.

00:15After the upcoming Christmas expenses, there is a little relief in paying Meralko's bill this January.

00:22The discount is 22 cents per kilowatt-hour or 44 pesos less than the total Meralko bill

00:29if the consumption is 200 kilowatt-hour.

00:32The primary reason is the reduction of the generation charge.

00:35Although there is an upward adjustment of 56 cents per kilowatt-hour in the power supply agreements,

00:42overall, there is still a reduction in the generation charge.

00:47The supply situation on the Luzon grid has improved

00:51because the demand has increased significantly.

00:53Because of the holiday season, the peak demand of Luzon has decreased by 471 megawatts.

00:59This is a little good news for Meralko's negotiator, Herbert,

01:02because the sale of milk tea after Christmas is halved.

01:05It's still low, but it's better because we will have an extra income.

01:11When February comes, Meralko will have a one-time refund.

01:15This is what the regulatory reset experts of the Energy Regulatory Commission asked for,

01:25In February, consumers will start receiving the electricity reserve purchased by the NGCP last year.
