00:00We are getting a little closer to spring training in baseball, believe it or not, and we still
00:04have some free agents who have not signed deals yet.
00:07Pete Alonzo is one of those.
00:09There was a report today that Alonzo and his camp reached out to the Mets and offered a
00:14three-year deal with opt-outs, and that deal, they only offered it to the Mets, not any
00:19of the other teams that were interested in him.
00:22There was a couple other reports that say the two sides are still nowhere close on an
00:26agreement despite that.
00:28Now if he came to them, Scotty, if he came to the Mets and Boris said, listen, three
00:34years, 30 million a year, I think it was three for 90 or something like that, then you don't
00:41want him back at that point as far as I'm concerned.
00:43You don't want him back if that's the deal.
00:46And on top of the fact that it's almost embarrassing that they have to go to the Mets to make an
00:53offer because the Mets aren't making offers to him.
00:57What are they waiting for?
00:58It's obvious that they're not interested in the financial fiscal picture of the entire
01:04entity of this deal.
01:06Since day one, we've worried about them losing Alonzo.
01:10First it was to the Yankees, and now he has to go to them.
01:13They have to go to the Mets to get them interested in a deal.
01:17It smells bogus to me.
01:19I'm not sure I'm buying it.
01:21And last thing for me, Major League Baseball today banned those two fans.

01:31They're not allowed now to be in any Major League Baseball stadium.
01:36I don't know how you police that.
01:39Every security guard in every stadium in the country is going to know who those two guys
01:43are.
01:44But they are banned from all those stadiums.
01:46Maybe facial recognition, but those two losers are toast.
