00:22concluded its regular season on Sunday Donnie it would be one thing right if
00:28this did not mean anything if the Mets had clinched and the Braves were long
00:32out of the postseason but the fact that maybe the most important series of this
00:37final week is now PPD until a doubleheader on Monday after the rest of
00:41the MLB season has come to a close it's just not what you want for either team
00:47for any of the teams in the hunt for October then this could have been
00:51avoided and I'm not saying all the way around because you can't just get out
00:55that long-term weather forecast when you play a game on what was it the first
00:58game of the series on Tuesday night and say hey weather's coming later in the
01:01week maybe it misses maybe it doesn't we don't want to rush and really change
01:05things up but these two teams are already in town and played a game once
01:09you ended that game let's just say on Tuesday night and you were trying to say
01:12okay it looks like we might have a hurricane here is where the greed of
01:15Major League Baseball comes in and nobody can tell me anything different if
01:18we need to play those games they're going to play and if they don't they
01:21probably have some sort of insurances that they buy before the season starts
01:25in case a game or two gets wiped out it's honestly that's what they do but
01:28yeah tell me this why weren't we looking yesterday and say okay we can't play two
01:33games you know what we'll send a message to the fans if you use your tickets
01:37tomorrow absolutely fantastic if you can't make it because we're gonna play
01:41this game at 11 a.m. or noon tomorrow don't worry about it we'll refund that
01:45money we're just trying to avoid the storm that's gonna start that later
01:48today I know we're probably have to blow up game number three of this series but
01:52we might not need three at that final game but we might need one of those
01:55final two games so we're gonna move this game up to a noon starter earlier just
01:59to get the game in regardless of fans are there you just have to sacrifice
02:03sometimes but it looks like they just completely whiffed on that and said oh
02:06if we need a doubleheader to start the playoffs which is gonna ruin both of
02:10those baseball teams that's in the best interest of baseball I must be missing
