00:04The common elect will issue certifications to those exempted from the GANBAN.

00:09This is the story of Louisa Erispe.

00:13On the 3rd of January 2012, after the resumption of the Nazareno Pista,

00:18the election period in the country will start.

00:21This means that the Commission on Elections will strictly monitor

00:26the Philippine National Police and other law enforcement agencies for the country's election in 2025.

00:32The first thing that will be implemented during the election period is the GANBAN.

00:37Next week, on January 12, the election period will start.

00:43The start of the Nationwide GANBAN will also start.

00:47This is what we will remind our fellow countrymen.

00:50But the common elect said that they will issue certifications to those exempted from the GANBAN.

00:56The law enforcement agencies and magistrates and judges will be the first to do so.

01:03For example, judges, prosecutors, department heads, undersecretaries, assistant secretaries,

01:11justices of the Supreme Court, our legislators, congressmen, and senators,

01:18they are all automatically exempted.

01:20The authorities will also monitor possible private armed groups.

01:26That is why the common elect will have a checkpoint,

01:29different from the checkpoints of the PNP.

01:31First, the potential private armed groups that can be used during and before,

01:37and even after the election, of course, our loose firearms that are normally used

01:44when there are incidents.

01:46And those that we monitor, particularly the intense political rivalries.

01:51The common elect's checkpoint is different.

01:53Because it's not just about the firearms or the weapons that we have there.
