00:28President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. held the first full cabinet meeting for the year 2025.

00:34According to Department of Transportation Secretary Jaime Bautista,

00:38among the issues discussed in the implementation of the flagship program of the administration,

00:45including the right of way or problems in the areas that are blocked by projects,

00:52such as North to South Commuter Railway, Metro Manila Subway, MRT, and other projects

00:59that will improve public transportation.

01:02DOTR is already working to address the problems.

01:07The agency is coordinating with other government agencies,

01:11such as the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development,

01:15for the relocation of affected areas.

01:18DOTR assured that the administration's infrastructure projects will be completed in time.

01:25This is in spite of the VTU funding of Php 1 billion for their Infra and Public Works Project.

01:34Meanwhile, in the press briefing in Malacanang,

01:37Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin welcomed former Malacanang Spokesperson Salvador Panelo.

01:45Panelo called it dirty politics to remove Vice President Sara Duterte

01:51as a member of the National Security Council.

01:54According to Bersamin, Panelo has no moral authority to question this

01:59because Panelo helped remove former VP Robredo from the previous NSC administration.

02:07The NSC is an advisory council,

02:10which is why President Marcos has the right to choose a member of his trust.

02:16Here is his statement.

02:49that whoever advises him is within his fullest trust and confidence.
