Honda Tadakatsu was a military commander in Japan's Sengoku period, and fought in many battles as a vassal of Tokugawa Ieyasu.

One of his most famous anecdotes is that he was known as "the unscathed military commander who never received a single wound."

He is particularly known for his heroic efforts at the Battle of Mikatagahara and his spear fighting at the Battle of Nagashino.

Tadakatsu's bravery and military exploits are remembered in Japanese history as one of the most representative military commanders of the Sengoku period.
