00:04Here is the weather forecast for this Sunday, December 29, 2024.
00:11There are three weather systems that are affected in our country.
00:15The Northeast Monsono-Amihan in the northern part of Central Luzon.
00:20The Shirline, or the hot and cold wind that will bring a cloudy sky,
00:27particularly in the northern part of Central and Southern Luzon,
00:32including Manila.
00:34And the Intertropical Convergence Zone, or ITCZ,
00:37that is affected in Palawan, Visayas, and Mindanao.
00:41As you can see, we are not monitoring any low-pressure areas
00:45inside and outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility.
00:48But these three weather systems will bring a cloudy sky,
00:53particularly in the northern part of Central and Southern Luzon,
00:58including Manila, Visayas, and Mindanao.
01:04And here is the weather forecast for the northern part of Luzon.
01:08We can see that there is a high chance of a cloudy sky,
01:12particularly in the Cagayan Valley Region,
01:16and also in the Cordillera area, the northern part of Hanging-Amihan.
01:21We may experience a mild to moderate rain.
01:25Meanwhile, the sky will be cloudy and there is a high chance of rain
01:29in the Calabarzon and Aurora regions.
01:34Some parts of the Bicol Region, including Manila,
01:37will still be affected by the Shirline.
01:40There are areas that may experience moderate up to heavy rains,
01:44and there may be sudden floods.
01:47Be careful of sudden floods, landslides, and landslides,

02:42The sky will be cloudy in Palawan,
02:45where there is a high chance of rains due to the Intertropical Convergence Zone, or ITCZ.
02:50The temperature in Kalayaan Islands will be around 24 to 30 degrees Celsius.
02:54In Puerto Princesa, it will be 24 to 29 degrees Celsius.
02:58It will also be cloudy, where there is a high chance of rains,
03:01especially in the eastern part of Visayas, due to the Intertropical Convergence Zone.
03:06The highest temperature in Iloilo will be 23 to 31 degrees Celsius.
03:12In Cebu, it will be up to 31 degrees Celsius.
03:14In Tacloban, it will be 24 to 29 degrees Celsius.
03:18The sky will also be cloudy, where there is a high chance of rains in the Caraga region,
03:23especially in Dinagat Islands and Sorigao del Norte.
03:27And here in Zamboanga del Norte,
03:30it will also be cloudy, where there is a high chance of rains due to the Intertropical Convergence Zone, or ITCZ.
03:36In the southern part of Mindanao,

04:53So, tomorrow, be aware of the possibility of flash floods and landslides,
04:58especially in these parts where we expect that there will be a high chance of rain.
05:04On Tuesday, the Intertropical Convergence Zone may be eroded
05:08and there will be a high chance of heavy rains,
05:12especially in the eastern part of Cabizayaan.
05:15To our fellow countrymen, especially in the area of Caraga, Dinagat Islands,
05:19Surigao del Norte, and Surigao del Sur,
05:21be aware of the possibility of sudden floods or flash floods,
