00:00to talk about Tyree kill here and his comments about dropping three passes that he needs to
00:04practice more and kind of giving love to Andy Reid. Was that a little bit deep? Was that a
00:08little bit of shot at Mike McDaniel in your opinion, Leroy? No, here's what it was. You
00:12just Tyree being Tyree. Here's why I'm it's I don't usually read too much into none of this,
00:22especially because as a human being, when somebody approaches you or attacks you,
00:31like what's wrong with you? Why you ain't doing this? Why you not doing that? You get defensive
00:39and when you get defensive, you trying to get that stink off of you, right? So you coming up
00:46with these reasons other than I just dropped a damn ball. So if you remember after the game,
00:52if you remember after the game, he was talking about me and tour, you know, need to be on the
01:01same page and two is like, yo, I'm working every day, right? And he kind of said, you know, I'm
01:08not getting the reps for whatever reason. Okay. But let's be clear. There is one job requirement
01:22of a wide receiver is catch the ball. So if you got a ball thrown at you and the one ball that
01:33everybody's complaining about, the ball was tipped. That's like one ball. There's two others.
01:38That was two others. Right. And, and so, and so I would say your one job requirement is to catch
01:45the ball, especially when they hit you in your hands, because your hands are supposed to be
01:50better than everybody else's hands. That's why you playing football at the highest of levels.
01:55So when it gets down to it and you are explaining anything about catching a ball as a receiver,
02:07the first comments out of your mouth, or I'm better than that. I should have called him.
02:11That's it. Move on. You don't need a little elaborate explanation.
02:17So two questions for you, Figgy, we're going to ask you and kind of circle back to everything.
02:21Do you feel as though there's beef between Tyreek Hill and Mike McDaniel after the comments of
02:26Andy Reid was a great coach and I need to get in practice more and I'm not practicing these
02:30veteran days off. Do you think there's a little beef between those two? No. Second question.
02:36If Tyreek Hill would drink more Coquito, would he catch the ball better? Possibly not.
02:42He catch one of them. He catch one. He'd be grabbing that one of them.
02:47I don't know. It depends on how much Coquito he has. I just think sometimes the simplest
02:52explanation for what goes wrong on a football field is I made a mistake.
02:56Yep. That is the hardest thing for any human being to admit.
03:00Right. It's our nature. And to say, when you say to somebody, I need to work more.
03:09Right. You got to know when you need to work more. Hell, I played on teams. We got,
03:14we used to get better in days during camp and me and Robert used to say, let's go run because we
03:19did a lot of running last week. So we go run some sprints on the side or, you know, during practice
03:24before we do our lifting, go run and do some stuff like that. Maybe run a couple of rounds or
03:28whatever. You know what you need. You supposed to be a professional. You setting the standard
03:33for everybody else. So to say that, oh, I'm not getting enough reps. There ain't no name,
03:40another pro saying that. Right. Even Teron Armstead isn't saying that. And he don't even
03:46practice. How are you complaining about getting a day off? Like I don't get that. Time's off.
03:54Not everybody's like, he comes at you a certain way. Your first mindset is to be defensive and
04:03give a reason when the only reason should be, I got to make those plays. That's it. This whole
04:09conversation would be over because what else they going to answer to it? What else they going to ask
04:13you? Nothing. But the reason conversation is still going on. The reason why it's still going on
04:21is because of the responses that he gave. Right. That's true. Right.
