Dallas Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy joins RJ and Bobby to discuss CeeDee’s season ending injury. McCarthy explains that after further examination, the shoulder seems to have gotten worse and having Lamb finish out the season was not worth the risk. Even though the Cowboys are eliminated from the playoffs, how will CeeDee’s absence effect the Cowboys’ offense?

00:00Coach, we got the news yesterday that CD lamb is done for the remainder of the season. He's
00:21obviously been dealing with that, that shoulder issue and played a couple of really good games.
00:25Just talk about his resilience and his toughness in the five years that you guys have spent together
00:31because he's not a guy that is frequently talked about as being banged up or hurt,
00:36but obviously guys get banged up at the end of the season. So just talk about his toughness
00:40and the way that he's played through that. Well, Bobby, you didn't even give me a follow
00:44up on my Christmas schedule. It was a great point. I thought you laid it all out there.
00:50I thought it was a great point. I didn't, I didn't get it. I didn't get the memo. We
00:54want a script this morning or something. We got a bunch of things you got to knock out.
00:59Just kidding. Uh, CD, you know, obviously, well, we all know what he means to our football team.
01:06Um, and you know, he's been playing, you know, with the shoulder for, for, for some time. And
01:11you know, when I had to, you know, the, the scans and the, and the examination, it's just,
01:16you know, it's, it was clearly worse than it's been. So, and that, you know, the risk is too
01:21high, um, that, you know, the play this week, even in, even if this was a, if we were in week
01:27three, this would probably be the, would be the same decision. So, um, it's important for him to
01:33shut it down and start rehabbing.
