00:05There's Packers Vikings, a breakdown.
00:07Yeah, this just in.
00:08So this is really good news because Harrison Smith,
00:10their star safety didn't play last week with a foot injury.
00:12He started working his way back today.
00:14So that's really good news.
00:16The Packers are really banged up.
00:17Scott, Jair Alexander, the best corner.
00:21He's had this lingering knee injury.
00:23He's missed the past four games.
00:24He practices and winds up not playing.
00:27It's fascinating how the lines makers have the Packers on the road
00:30as a one-point favorite.
00:32But getting Alexander potentially back this week would be huge.
00:36They've got a couple guys on their side.
00:38Buller, their rookie safety out of Georgia has been terrific.
00:40He's got an ankle injury.
00:41He just started working his way back.
00:43He's missed a couple games.
00:44But the big one would be if they could get Jair Alexander back,
00:48would be absolutely huge.
00:49You saw what happened when he played in the playoffs.
00:51Remember, after all the turmoil last season with him,
00:53he played against Dallas and played lights out.
00:55So they need to get him back for this.
00:57This game is fascinating to me, Scott.
00:59Are you surprised that the Packers on the road – by the way,
01:02the Vikings already won in Green Bay.
01:04It was a great game.
01:05They were up big, and then they almost blew the lead.
01:07Are you surprised that the Packers are a one-point favorite here?
01:09No, because the Packers, I think, are the hottest team in the NFL,
01:13including over the Rams or the Eagles or anyone else.
01:16I think the Packers are the most dangerous team right now in the NFL.
01:20They are.
01:21Jordan Love is playing great.
01:23They have not had a great schedule, but I give the Packers credit.
01:25They're playing lights out football.
01:27Jordan Love has really improved it for a slow start.
01:29But the big difference is Jeff Halfley, the defensive coordinator.
01:33So talking to people around the Packers,
01:35last year they just thought that the defense under Joe Barry was too passive.
01:39Halfley's running a different scheme.
01:40He's now running a 43, which they haven't run in decades,
01:42and they're playing great.
01:44This is the matchup of the week,
01:45one of the best matchups certainly of the season.
01:47Falcons and Commanders at the dump in Landover.
01:52Yeah, this is another one.
01:54This game was flexed tonight, and this is going to be a fun game.
01:58The Commanders have had a huge win over the Eagles last week in Landover.
02:04Zach Ertz came through the game last week with a shoulder and concussion.
02:06He's fine.
02:07He's good to go this week.
02:09The big issue, though, with the Commanders is the wide receiver position.
02:14They're really banged up.
02:15They're very thin to begin with.
02:17McLaurin did work today, by the way.
02:18He didn't practice yesterday.
02:19He did work today.
02:21They expect him to go with an ankle injury,
02:22but we'll keep an eye on the receiver position.
02:24Atlanta, by the way.
02:25Atlanta's one of the most healthy teams in the National Football League.
02:28As I understand, they expect all their starters to be available.
02:31And, look, they've got Michael Penix Jr., his second start as a rookie,
02:36first game on the road.
02:37It's going to be very, very difficult to go in there.
02:39He handled himself really well against, obviously, a bad Giants team,
02:42but I'm curious to see how he's going to handle himself on the road,
02:46outdoors, by the way, at the dump, as you say, in Landover, Maryland.
