00:00Good news, President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. approved a higher gratuity pay for the government's job order and contract of service employees.

00:15A higher gratuity pay, that's what the government approved for the government's job order and contract of service employees.

00:24Since the previous 5,000 Pesos last year, President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. approved a 7,000 Pesos gratuity pay for the government's job order and contract of service employees.

00:35If the government is working for more than 4 months, that's according to Administrative Order No. 28 issued by the Palacio and signed by Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin.

00:46But worry no more, because 6,000 Pesos will be accepted if the employee has served for 3 months and is lower than 4 months.

00:545,000 Pesos will be accepted if they are 2 months, but lower than the 3 months they have been working for the government.

01:01While 4,000 Pesos for employees who are lower than 2 months of employment.

01:07The Budget Department thanked the President for this, to make it possible to increase the gratuity pay for COS and JO workers.

01:15According to the DBM, this is a big help to the workers, especially since the calamities in the country have been increasing this year.

01:22At the same time, the government will not neglect the COS and JO employees, especially since they have a big role in the government's job.

01:31They will also not allow the government to not accept COS and JO personnel this holiday season.

01:38Under this order, the COS and JO employees of national government agencies, state universities and colleges, government-owned or controlled corporations or GOCCs, and local water districts

01:51will be paid a gratuity pay to qualified COS and JO workers in the government for fiscal year 2024 as early as December 15.
