00:00The Bureau of Corrections confirmed a Philippine delegation is in Indonesia to process the transfer of Mary-Jane Veloso to Philippine jurisdiction.
00:08Upon her arrival, Veloso will undergo a five-day quarantine at the Correctional Institution for Women as a newly committed person deprived of liberty or PDL.
00:19Veloso will stay at the reception and diagnostic center for not more than 90 days,
00:2455 of which will be dedicated to orientation, diagnostic evaluation and security classification.
00:31She will then be assigned to a cell based on the resolution of the reception and diagnostic center classification board.
00:38The quarantine period is set to end on December 24. At such time, her family will then be allowed to visit her.
00:45Bucor assure the public and the Veloso family that Mary-Jane and her alleged illegal recruiter will be detained in separate facilities to avoid an encounter.
00:54Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin was asked whether the Philippine government could actually grant clemency to Veloso, to which the cabinet official answered.
