00:00This is PTV Balita Ngayon. The Office of Civil Defense is on the lookout for possible harm from the volcano Kanlaon,

00:12followed by the hope of a strong rain in the Visayas region.

00:18The Civil Defense Western Visayas and the Regional Task Force Kanlaon set up residents to be alert because of the bad weather.

00:27Among the high-risk areas are Negros Occidental, Bago City, La Carlota City, Ponte Vedra, Pulupandan, San Enrique, Baladolid,

00:38Binalbagan, Himamaylan City, Hinigaran, Isabela, La Castellana, and Moises Padilla.

00:47The Board of Directors of PhilHealth approved a budget of Php 284 billion for 2025. According to the Department of Health,

00:57it is 10 percent higher than anticipated for 2024. Health Secretary Teodoro Hermosa explained,

01:06the Board approved a higher fund for a wider benefit, including Php 271 billion for Z-Benefits, PhilHealth Consulta, and an additional hemodialysis session.

01:21The PhilHealth Board will also add funds for emergency care, outpatient mental health, severe malnutrition, and other outpatient packages.
