00:05the Philippine men's boxing team coach and longtime mentor of the Philippine Olympian boxer Carla Paalam,

00:11Elmer Pamisa, will be their plan to recover from the next Olympic Games in 2028.

00:29continues to encourage his longtime Philippine boxing Olympian Carlo Paalam

00:34to succeed in the upcoming competitions despite the difficulty of winning the medal.

00:39This is the second time Paalam has participated in the Olympic Stage 3

00:43after winning the silver medal in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

00:47But his mission is not yet complete because 2028 Los Angeles Olympics is their next target destination.

00:55In an interview with PTV Sports, Pamisa said that Paalam has already received the silver medal in the 2024 Paris Olympics

01:02and they will use this motivation to prepare for their comeback in the next edition.

01:10Of course, he received it, but we did not blame him because he was given by our President,

01:19Bungo Marcos, for giving him 1 million pesos.

01:23That's why, it's not immoral if he's not inspired yet,

01:28especially to his fellow mentors, as I mentioned, Carlos Yulo.

01:32Maybe that's where he's not yet satisfied.

01:35He will also reach what they have reached when he was disqualified from the Olympic Games.

01:43Although Paalam has a long time ahead of him,

01:50such as the Southeast Asian Games, Asian Games, and other big tournaments led by the Philippine Boxing Team.

01:58So, there's a big chance that in 2028, we will be able to recover.

02:06Because the Olympics is not 50-50 anymore.

02:09I can see that they are aiming for something else.

02:12So, I think that in 2028, Carlos will be able to recover.

02:18For now, Paalam will rest until the end of the year.

02:21But PAMISA said that when January 2025 comes,

02:26they will start their intense training until the end of the 2028 Olympic Games.
