00:00I haven't started shopping for my Christmas presents this year, and that's what I'm going
00:08to do this morning, or this afternoon rather. If we go online to do our shopping, if we
00:13do everything online, we're going to lose our shops. And in actual fact, we can see
00:18that happening now, can't we really? Yes, so shop local, definitely, definitely.
00:23Most of them really, and boys obviously. Not so much, because my grandchildren are getting
00:35quite big now, so they mainly want money. But do you reckon that it is important for
00:41people to try and shop local? Oh yes, yeah. And I've tried now, now that
00:47the porters are open to get fresh meat and that, instead of getting it from the supermarket.
00:54I haven't shopped locally. Well, some shops, yeah, some shops are alright, some shops are
01:00a bit bad for Christmas presents. To be fair though, in Newark, the shops are cheap, affordable
01:08for families when it comes to Christmas presents. Some shops, they are quite cheap, yeah, but
01:14for bigger shops, probably not enough. If you want to go more expensive, then yeah,
01:18not enough. Yeah, quite a lot. I'm beginning to, yes, yes, mostly for him, but yes, I'm
01:25doing all I can to find what I want, and there's plenty on offer in the town.
01:29We always shop locally, yes. Well, it's always important to support your local business if
01:34you want it to still be around, isn't it? Yeah, you might find somewhere a bit cheaper,
01:39but it's good to support local businesses, so we've always done that for car maintenance
01:44and main shopping and work, yeah.
