00:00 Are you cutting back this Christmas or are you not really worrying about how much you're spending?

00:05 Christmas is great for us because about 10 years ago my mum died, which is not a good thing.

00:10 But my dad suggested we don't do presents, and so we do no presents for Christmas, birthdays, anything.

00:16 We do nice things instead, don't we?

00:18 Yeah, although it's brilliant, so no, we're not too bad because we don't do anything anyway.

00:22 So that was an easy question.

00:24 What sort of things do you do instead?

00:26 We'll go out for dinner, we'll go on holiday, we'll do all sorts of things, but what we wouldn't spend on stuff we don't make up.

00:32 I am cutting down this year, yeah, a lot.

00:35 Cutting down, this year, like buying presents for the kids and one friend, that's all.

00:43 Is that because of the cost of living?

00:45 Because of the cost of living, yes, and everything is so expensive.

00:48 Cards and everything, you know, so expensive.

00:52 I've cut down a lot this year, stamps, the pools, the cards as well.

00:56 I've sent two cards abroad for the stamps, so it's pretty much, you know, what they're doing.

01:04 I'm going back.

01:05 Yeah, back to being a student, so I won't be getting any presents for anyone.

01:10 I'm not one.

01:12 Have you got a budget that you're sticking to?

01:15 Not really.

01:17 I've got some I'm going to get, but definitely less than last year.

01:22 Yeah, definitely a lot less than last year.
