00:00The bicameral conference committee continued with a version of the two conclusions of the Congress on the 2025 national budget.

00:11And in a rare opportunity, the bicam opened to the public the end of their hearing.

00:23After the congressmen and senators gathered here in a hotel in Manila, the 2025 national budget passed to the bicameral conference committee.

00:38In an ambush interview with House Speaker Martin Romualdez, he confirmed some details of what happened to the budget for ACT-CAP, which is one of the hot topics discussed by some lawmakers.

00:53Romualdez also confirmed some agencies of the government and programs that will surely be funded.

01:03Speaker, what is your budget for ACT-CAP next?

01:06Maintained? Yes, just as we proposed a gap.

01:09It's a very good news.

01:11Like what we did, we increased the AFP for our soldiers, daily subsistence allowance.

01:22We increased it from 150 to 350.

01:25That is going to be maintained and fully supported.

01:30For the high morale of the soldiers, our men and women in uniform, AFP, it will continue.

01:42In the budget, the Office of the Vice President approved by the Senate Committee on Finance Chairperson Senator Grace Poe that the budget of the OVP will remain at P733 million based on the version of the bicam.
