00:00So, so let's talk JT majors then. So, Oh, do you have one more item? Okay. That's where
00:09we were going. That's where we were going. So quail, obviously he likes that place. Quail
00:14quail sets up nice for him. Uh, I, I, maybe that's a little JT Rory showdown at the PGA.
00:20I'd be very intrigued by that. He puts those greens really well. Just think about, you
00:24know, the PJ championship, the president's cup, um, you know, the, the amount of times
00:29he's played the Wells Fargo and played well. So that one, you just have to assume he's
00:34going to have a really nice week. But the other, the other ones that, that come to mind
00:40are Oakmont's a big ballpark that I feel like driver really does set up. Um, you know, for,
00:46for guys that aren't worried about hitting it out of play, it's like I can get up there
00:50and just whale on it. Um, which you have to do that. You still got to hit it really straight,
00:56but still, um, if JT has it turned on that week, sets up the whole game out there and
01:02then poor rush. I, I, I, I think if I have this correct, uh, he recently went on a scouting
01:08trip to Ireland this summer with, uh, some people who might be on this podcast. We didn't
01:12get it. We didn't get a poor rush though. No, just get in the climate, the general feel
01:16for the, for the Irish golfing landscape, right? Um, you gotta, I mean, listen, if he
01:21wins, he's gotta give you a little bit of credit there. That's all I'm saying. Exactly.
01:25Well, I, I know he loves links golf. He loves playing in wind. So I think that that week in
01:30particular is, is one that he has found the open golf to be some of his favorite golf, um, style
01:37golf that he likes to play. So you have an open championship in a venue that he, that he really,
01:44really enjoys. Um, then you have whale, you have quail hollow loves that golf courses already
01:49won a major there. You have Augusta, which should fit his game perfectly. I think that's
01:57much more about the putting that week than anything is just being really good inside of 10
02:01feet. And, uh, and then Oakmont, I think, uh, you know, let's look at the last U S open.
02:08That was out there. It, uh, I, you have to put the ball in the fairway, but if you're,
02:12if you're driving it long and straight, like Dustin Johnson did, I mean, uh, you can go out
02:17and blitz the place. So it's a big major year for JT. And I think we all feel like he's been
02:23trending towards, uh, being a, um, consistent elite player, right? We talk about him like he
02:31is an elite player because his resume says he is, he's a 15 time PGA tour winner, two-time major
02:37winner. That's a hall of fame record. And he's still in his prime. So I think we always have to
02:42talk about him. Like he is an elite player, but the last couple of years we're like,
02:47man, we, we, we barely touch on JT. And I feel like now I'm, we, we want it so bad for him to
02:56like get over the hump and just have that run of golf. That's like, you know, just final groups,
03:01like just that, you know, that's the problem. Like when you go up against Scotty, you know,
03:05with the standard of excellences and you gotta go and do it, you gotta go and beat the guy.
03:08It's hard to do. I'm going to zag a little bit here. I'm, I'm predicting some,
03:13some nasty March, Florida weather, uh, the JT, uh, wins the players. I'm going 2025 players.
03:21JT there. I just can't get over. I think it was 2022. That one round he played
03:25in horrific weather. Now five, what are you hitting to 18? It's one of my favorite shots
03:30that I've ever seen. Players is the hardest week or it's, I think it's the hardest
03:36tournament to predict how somebody is going to do because it is all about form. You're,
03:41you either have it or you don't. And there's no, you can't fake your way around that golf course.
03:47And when you have it, it's easy, but when you don't, it's like, get me off of this place.
03:51This is my nightmare. Yeah.
