00:00We are faced with a flood disaster across the country.
00:04Last week's Cabinet meeting decided to freeze all Cabinet members' holidays
00:10until the situation calms down and all Ministers and Ministers-in-Chief
00:13are directed to immediately go down to the affected communities.
00:18Last Sunday, I went down to Terengganu.
00:21Before that, the Ministers-in-Chief went to Kelantan and several other countries.
00:26But I went down to see the flood management there.
00:31I ordered an additional 25 million ringgit through SCU for Kelantan and Terengganu
00:37because these are the two countries most affected by the floods this year.
00:42And this is an additional 50 million ringgit for both countries.
00:49And I also added the same amount,
00:53which is an additional 300 million ringgit for NADMA to manage the talks
00:58through the Temporary Intervention Centre
01:01in addition to providing assistance to the affected flood victims.
01:08Of course, we are grateful to the Vice-Chairman.
01:10Alhamdulillah, because when I made a request to the corporate sector
01:14to help,
01:16although there have been treasuries and banks,
01:20but other than JLC, such as PNB, Petronas, Yasan, Hassan, Ahmad Niaga,
01:26they have provided assistance worth 10 million ringgit.
01:29Inshallah, today, I will receive an additional 35 million ringgit
01:35from the private sector.
01:45So, this is important.
01:48If we manage this country in a good way,
01:52and do not waste the wealth for personal and family interests,
01:56as long as we make it public,
02:00in two days, we can collect 35 million ringgit.
02:04That is without any additional campaign.
02:08So, I think we have to express appreciation to all stakeholders,
02:14including the government that is involved in the flood recovery,
02:18which is 80,000 people.
02:22Ehsan Khidmat Madani,
02:27who is the Chairperson of KSN,
02:29will set aside tens of thousands of ringgit
02:32to determine whether this program will be completed
02:37or not.
02:44And we use this honorable meeting to express appreciation
02:52not only to the public officials,
02:54but also to the police, APM, bombers, JKM,
02:59Ministry of Health, Education,
03:01Government of the Republic of Kelantan,
03:07for their good cooperation, commitment and sacrifice.
03:12In addition, the private sector is also involved,
03:16and this shows the extraordinary strength of Malaysian people
03:19in trying to help solve the problems faced by Malaysian people.
03:24So, on behalf of the government,
03:26I express my appreciation to all.
