00:00We have registered a data, we have 44.6% of children in the range between 6 and 10 years old
00:12who daily use the internet, so they access platforms such as TikTok, Instagram or others.
00:19It is clear that this certainly creates the assumptions for a dependency in the future.
00:27All international institutions even advise the use of television until the age of two.
00:34Let's imagine what it means to deliver these instruments to children.
00:38Instruments that are used to make sure that children are calm, that they eat in peace,
00:44do not disturb parents, without realizing the damage that all this creates in minors
00:50because it generates a real social dependence.
00:54It is impossible to think of removing cell phones or the internet
00:58because in the world we live in they are much more advanced than ours.
01:02I absolutely agree and I believe that we should change the cultural setting,
01:07that is, try to educate our children to recover the reality, the relationship with reality,
01:12so a greater space for real relationships, relationships with their parents, with nature
01:18and with relationships in the flesh.
01:20I think this is the right way, to bring them back to reality and to the beauty of real relationships.
01:26Would it be possible to think of limiting access to TikTok, Instagram from a legislative point of view?
01:34Yes, but I don't think that this result will be achieved.
01:39We must be clear, honestly, I don't think we can do it.
01:45I'm sorry, but is it possible to imagine that we move from one dependence to another?
01:50That is, the abandonment of children in front of social instruments
01:53becomes pedophilic, then to other dependencies.
01:56I think, for example, it is a plot that we will see in a moment.
01:58Absolutely, yes.
01:59These are correlated phenomena that live in parallel
02:02because what unites them is the isolation of these children,
02:06the fragility of the new generations,
02:10generations that live in an absolutely uncertain social context,
02:14in which what matters is the appearance, in which you have to prioritize,
02:18in which there is no space for fragility and diversity.
02:22So this inner void is filled, clearly in an illusory way by these children,
02:27precisely with the consumption of stupefying substances
02:30or in any case with the widespread use of social media,
02:33therefore the search for the like, the search for the follower.
