00:00Congratulations to the Guilas Pilipinas for making it to the 2025 FIBA Asia Cup

00:08after defeating Hong Kong in their Window 2 game at the Mall of Asia Arena last night.

00:20The Guilas Pilipinas' match against FIBA Asia Cup qualifiers was still perfect

00:26after defeating Hong Kong in the competition.

00:30Coach Tim Cohn's record in closing the Window 2 was 4 wins with no losses.

00:37Because of that, they were already qualified for the FIBA Asia Cup

00:40which will be held in Saudi Arabia in August of next year.

00:44One of the youngest members of the national team, Carl Tamayo, made it to the next round.

00:50Tamayo posted 16 points and 6 rebounds to be the first Guilas to win 93-54.

01:21Even though the Guilas had a huge advantage in this match,

01:25some fans were still disappointed because star forward Dwight Ramos was not able to play.

01:32In the 4th quarter, we want Dwight! was the shout of the Guilas fans inside the arena.

01:42However, he wanted to play. Coach Tim explained.

01:51And I told him he was injured and I can't play him.

01:54And he still kept saying, we want Dwight, we want Dwight.

01:58Yeah, I mean, I love Dwight. I mean, I'm like all the girls, you know, I love Dwight.

02:03I just love him for different reasons, right? I mean, I love him for his basketball mind and his talent.

02:08He's got an incredible basketball mind.

02:10Girls like him for his looks. I can't like him for his looks.

02:15So, but I like him, I mean, I love him for his brain and basketball brain.

02:21For now, the Guilas members will be separated to play in their mother teams.

02:27But they will be back together in the action in the window 3 of the FIBA Asia Cup Qualifier in February of the next year.
