00:00And at this point, let's talk about the update on the programs of the current administration here in Mr. President on the Go.
00:23First of all, fellow countrymen, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. was amazed at the Filipino products after his visit to the Fame 2024 Exhibit at the World Trade Center in Pasay City last Friday.
00:37In his message, our President said that the Filipino products are very popular and world-class, so it's only right to show it to the whole world.
00:47Our President was moved that the government is doing everything to promote the Filipino products in the digital space.
00:56You know, Dayan, in the last exhibit, our President also noticed that the designs from here in the Philippines are getting better as time goes by.
01:05Let's just say that our products are world-class.
01:08President Marcos Jr. ordered the Department of Trade and Industry, or DTI, to do the necessary promotion to make it more recognizable in the international market.
01:19Because it's really an export quality.
01:21In the current exhibit, various products for home, fashion, and other products from micro, small, and medium enterprises were displayed.
01:30President Marcos Jr. believes that the Filipino products are world-class because of their unique design and quality.
01:39The Manila Fame is one of the first trade shows that aims to expand the quality of home, fashion, and lifestyle products of micro, small, and medium enterprises and artists and communities.
01:51In 2023, the creative industry contributed 7.1% of the country's GDP.
01:57That's equivalent to Php 1.72 trillion worth of products and services.
02:03Well, here in the Philippines, we can support these products.
02:07When it comes to buying our own products, the Filipino-made products, it's better to buy them first, especially during Christmas.
02:13Yes, they can be used as gifts.
02:16Even for our fellow Filipinos abroad, they can be used as souvenirs.
02:22We can also support micro, small, and medium enterprises in our country.
