00:00You got Ohio State that pulled off a statement win today. I would say 38-15
00:07over Indiana, one of the most perfect teams in college football this season.
00:12And I mean collectively, Ohio State pieced their game together so
00:16well. 200 plus yards from their quarterback, defense comes up with
00:19strong plays. They limited Rourke to just 68 passing yards. Ground game kind of got
00:24off there on the second half, 79 yards by Lawton. But outside of that, I mean
00:28collectively, well done job by Ohio State, who we've also said we haven't
00:32seen them bring their best football. But over the course of the last two, three
00:35weeks, I'd say they started to produce their best. What did you make of the
00:3838-15 victory for the Buckeyes? Yeah, I think it was, you know, contrasting
00:43for the quarterbacks here and for the Hoosiers. This was their real test, a bit
00:48of a referendum spot late in the season. They came into this one undefeated, but
00:52they were really going to get a fight coming to them. And look, it's sort of
00:56tough, you know, the takeaways from this one, because we know the Buckeyes were
01:00going to go big, but it was a matter of if they wipe Indiana off the field, then
01:05the Hoosiers record means not nothing, but it's got a lot more holes in it than
01:09what we expected coming into week 13. If they keep it close enough, we're sitting,
01:13okay, they didn't get the win, but they're absolutely the real deal. And for
01:17me, it's right in the balance there. I like to think that I'll stay positive
01:21and for Indiana and the Hoosiers, they're not going to lose a lot of stock from
01:25this one. The two quarterbacks, Curtis Rourke, I mean, he was under so much
01:28pressure. He was sacked five times out there this afternoon, could only manage
01:3268 passing yards. That was not good enough for Indiana and trying to stay in
01:36this one. They got off to a flying start. They scored first, but after that, it was
01:40absolutely crickets. And for the Buckeyes, I mean, Will Howard, you look at the
01:44numbers that we've seen all season long, Casey, and the metrics say he's a decent
01:50to strong, you know, he's a pretty good quarterback, but he's a winner. He's got
01:54that intangibly, just figures out a way to get it done. And the Buckeyes, they
01:58needed this one. This could be the catapult going in to the next couple of
02:01weeks here. So a lot of momentum for them and for the Hoosiers, a nice little
02:05wake-up call, and they're absolutely not going to lose a lot of stock. I think
02:08they'll still stay right in the balance.
02:11Absolutely. And that's a great way to explain Will Howard. I mean, I think we're
02:14starting to learn, especially with these young quarterbacks and anyone that wants
02:17a future in the NFL is the simplicity to their game can probably pay off a lot
02:22more than trying to do all the things. All the things is flashy, is exciting,
02:25it's entertainment, but sometimes you just need a Will Howard at the helm to
02:29get the job done. And he's been a great leader for that team throughout this
02:32season.
