00:00The Philippine National Police assured that the NCRPO and PNP Anti-Cybercrime Group's operation has no effect

00:07and that suspensions will be extended for some of its officials.

00:10As of now, an investigation is still ongoing on what happened in a raid on an establishment in Manila

00:16that has already obtained evidence of being a scam hub.

00:23Five days ago, the Philippine National Police and PNP

00:27suspended the National Capital Region Police Office Director,

00:31Police Major General Sidney Hernia

00:33and Anti-Cybercrime Group Director, Police Major General Ronnie Cariaga.

00:37On November 17, the administrative relief of the two officials should have been completed

00:42but it was extended until today, November 22.

00:45PNP Spokesperson, Police Brigadier General Jane Fajardo explained

00:49that the investigation is not yet complete if there was negligence

00:54in the raid on the Century Peak Tower in Ermita on October 29.

00:58PNP assured that the suspension of the two officials will not affect the operation of their units

01:04because there were officers in charge.

01:07PNP again claimed that the operation in Naturan Gusali is legitimate.

01:12PNP leadership, deem it wise to put them under administrative relief.

01:17This is not a punishment like what we are saying

01:21but this is just an administrative action on the part of the PNP

01:25to give way to an impartial investigation.

01:28Along with the investigation, if there is negligence

01:31in the operation of the two officials in the raid of their units,

01:35PNP also found the three police officers who moved the CCTV camera inside the building.

01:42The three police officers are now in restrictive custody.

01:46The mere act that they moved the CCTV camera

01:51regardless of their justification and excuses that they don't want to be seen naked,

01:58it does not exculpate them from any liability.

02:02Meanwhile, PNP has evidence regarding the illegal activities of Vertex Technologies.

02:09Initially, I was informed that they have already seen evidence

02:14of alleged and reported scamming activities

02:17and there are even cryptocurrencies

02:20which is really the subject of their cyber warrants

02:25saying that this company, particularly Vertex Technologies

02:32located on the 23rd floor of Century Peak Tower

02:36is engaged in love scam and cryptocurrency

02:38which is a clear violation of the Securities Regulation Code.
