00:00The Department of Budget and Management, DBM, has approved the issuance of a P5 billion fund

00:07for the DSWD Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situations Program, or AICS.

00:14This is in accordance with the directive of President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr.

00:18so that the needs of our countrymen who have been severely affected by the typhoon can be met immediately.

00:25Meanwhile,

00:26more than 200 family foodpacks have been distributed to 80 families

00:32who temporarily reside in an evacuation center in the town of Langar, La Union.

00:38In addition, the provincial government will continue to provide assistance to various evacuation centers in the province.

00:47The DSWD Field Office, Cordillera Administrative Region has also approved the issuance of SWAD sleeping kits

00:57for the 22-stranded individuals in Lagawi, Ifugaw.

01:01The beneficiaries are made up of 8 men and 14 women.

01:07According to the latest data, more than 1,400,000 family foodpacks have been distributed

01:16for the regions affected by the typhoon,

01:19of which more than half a million have already been received by Bicol.

01:24The region of Calabarzon, Central Luzon, and Ilocos Region will not decrease to 100,000.
