What is Hot n Sour Soup?
Hot and sour soup is a popular example of Chinese cuisine. Although it is said to be originated in Sichuan, this is actually a variant of hulatang or "pepper hot soup" with added vinegar to enhance the sourness. This variation is found in Henan province, and in Henan cuisine itself.

Hot n Sour Soup Recipe:
Water 3 Liter
Chicken With Bones 500 gm
Carrot / Gajar 1 Medium
Onion / Pyaaz 1 Medium
Chicken Cubes 2
Garlic / Lehsan Cloves 8 to 10
Pink Salt / Namak 2 tbsp or To Taste
Bring It To Boil
Close The Lid Cook On Low For 30 Minutes
When Cooked Strain The Stock / Yakhni
Keep Aside Lets Prepare For The Soup
Oil 1/4 Cup
Garlic / Lehsan ( Chopped ) 1 tbsp
Saute For 1 Minute or Till Golden
Chicken Bonless ( Julienne Cut ) 500 gm
Saute For 3 to 4 Minutes
Carrot / Gajar ( Julienne Cut ) 100 gm
Cook For 2 Minutes
Capsicum / Chimla Mirch ( Julienne Cut ) 100 gm
Cabbage / Band Gobi 100 gm
Mix Well Cook For 1 Minute
Add Chicken Stock / Yakhni
Bring It To Boil
Black Pepper / Kali Mirch Powder 1 tsp
White Pepper / Safaid Mirch Powder 1 tsp
Pink Salt / Namak 1/2 tsp or To Taste
Chines Salt 1 tbsp
Sugar / Cheeni 1 tbsp
Soy Sauce 2 tbsp
Chilli Sauce 3 tbsp
White Vinegar / Sirka 2 tbsp
Mix Well
Green Onion / Hari Pyaaz 1 Cup
Add 1/2 Cup Water Into 6 tbsp Corn Flour to Make A Slurry
Add Corn Flour Slurry
Add 2 Eggs ( Whisked ) Into Soup
Cook For 3 Minutes Close The Flame
Hot n Sour Soup Ready To Serve
