00:10The DOST Pagasa issued an advisory regarding the continued movement of the Pepito Tornado

00:17towards the north-western part of the Philippines.

00:21The gale warning in the eastern and southern seaboards of Southern Luzon and the eastern seaboard of Visayas is high.

00:28The Philippine Ports Authority reminds passengers and port users

00:32to avoid traveling to affected areas for safety and to avoid accidents.

00:40More than 3,000 people were stranded in different areas this Saturday morning

00:45after the sea trips were canceled due to the Pepito Tornado

00:50according to the Philippine Coast Guard or PCG.

00:53It's very difficult because every time there's a storm, this is what we experience.

00:59From 4 a.m. to 8 a.m., the PCG reported that more than 3,000 passengers were stranded

01:06in 45 ports in Southern Tagalog, Eastern Visayas, and Bicol.

01:12Some ports also officially canceled their scheduled trips and reminded the public.

01:59Meanwhile, according to the forecast track, the Pepito Tornado is now a super typhoon.

02:06The Pepito Tornado is expected to unfold around Catanduanes this evening or early tomorrow.
