00:00Hey, Scott, let's talk some week 11 in college football. I can't believe we're into November
00:12already. I have three storylines before we talk about week 12. First off, we discussed
00:18Ole Miss last week. I mentioned at that time that if you're going to get in on the Rebels
00:22off of that big win against Arkansas, last week was the time to do it. 33 to one at that
00:28point in terms of national championship odds, now plus 950 on FanDuel after the huge win
00:36against Georgia. When I look at this team, Scott, I think they're built for a possible
00:41national title. You've got the coach in Lane Kiffin, offensive mastermind, veteran quarterback
00:47in Jackson Dart. But this is now a defensive football team, not something we would expect
00:52to say for someone coached by Lane Kiffin. But up front, Walter Nolan, Chris Paul Jr.
00:58at linebacker, the secondary keeps getting better. They dominated Georgia at the point
01:04of attack. And now with just two regular season games left at Florida with their injured quarterback
01:10DJ Lagway, home for the Egg Bowl against Mississippi State. I think you're looking at Ole Miss
01:15cruising into the playoffs at 11 and one. Watch the Rebels. I think they're a very dangerous
01:20team once we get to December. Now, number two, Colorado continues to fascinate. Seven
01:26and two big win at Texas Tech might be their toughest game left on the schedule. Dion's
01:32doing a great job. A lot of people don't want to admit it, but this is more than Shador.
01:36This is more than Travis Hunter. They're actually winning with some defense as well, just like
01:41Ole Miss, not nearly on that level, but they're playing very well defensively, getting turnovers,
01:47big plays, sacks. They're gradually rounding into a complete football team. Think about
01:52this. Can you imagine saying this, Scott, in August? They're four wins away from a number
01:58four seed in the playoffs. They could have a buy in the playoffs, three winnable games
02:03down the stretch, and then possibly BYU in the big 12 title game. Now, final thought
02:09in terms of last weekend, the one program that's been way off the radar is Notre Dame.
02:15And they did that on their own. The loss to Northern Illinois in week two, we all forgot
02:19about Notre Dame, but they have found an identity. This team is ground and pound, outstanding
02:24defense. They've won seven straight. Marcus Friedman developing really into a mature coach
02:30in his third season. So Notre Dame, couple of wins left, UVA, Army, USC. I think they're
02:36all winnable games. I expect to see ND in the playoffs. And final thought for week 12,
02:42not a packed schedule. Usually that's when we get the wildest games, but the big one,
02:46Tennessee at Georgia. Georgia's got to have the same performance they had against Texas
02:51a few weeks back. Backs against the wall, not playing great, but they have handled Tennessee
02:57last seven games by at least two touchdowns, 10 point favorite. I expect to see another
03:03huge effort from Georgia this weekend.
