00:00And first up we're covering the U.S. men's national team's latest roster
00:07call-up and their quarterfinal clash in the CONCACAF Nations League. This is the
00:10squad's first official outing on their new head coach Mauricio Pochettino. So
00:14expectations Marcelino are pretty high. That's right Francisco, it's a very
00:18exciting game. Mauricio Pochettino has named a 25-man roster to the CONCACAF
00:22Nation League quarterfinal. It's an exciting group, a combination of
00:26experience and youth and some surprise inclusions. Former New England
00:30Revolution star Matt Turner is back and will face new competition with some
00:34fresh faces in the goalkeeping position. They brought Turner, that now plays for
00:38Crystal Palace, is joined by Zach Stephen, a well-known player for the national
00:42team, and Patrick Schulte, but also a surprise, Diego Cochin. And Cochin is
00:47only 18 years old. It's a call-up, he's coming from Barcelona B team. A very
00:51special moment and something that was not expected, but it's good to see that
00:54they're trying new players and they're exposing them to high-level competition
00:58right away. We also see that Tyler Adams will be out due to recovery, so it's an
01:02opportunity for Johnny Cardozo from Real Betis and Aiden Morris to make their
01:06mark. It'll be exciting to see how they're gonna blend with the more
01:09established midfield names. You got Weston McKinney, you got Junos Moussa,
01:13you got some defenders that are interesting to see what they can do now
01:17in Pochettino's squad. That's right Francisco, let's talk about our back line.
01:21Defensively, the US has solid experience with players like Mark
01:24McKenzie from Toulouse, Tim Rehm from Charlotte FC, and Crystal Palace's Chris
01:28Richardson. They all come with recent high-level competition. Joining them are
01:32also Anthony Robinson, the speedy fullback from Fulham, and Miles Robinson,
01:37who's solid defense with Cincinnati. Also coming off a loss from the playoffs, but
01:41maybe, you know, mentally ready to move on to the national team. Joe Scali from
01:45Borussia and Austin Trosted from Celtic. I think that this allows the team to
01:50have a lot of versatility out the back. Yeah, I'm very interested to see how much
01:54is Pochettino going to rely on MLS talent. Guys like Kalina, for example,
01:58which is one MLS goalie of the year. Let's see how that goes for Mauricio
02:03Pochettino. And you mentioned MLS, the domestic leagues. Pochettino showing
02:07that he's not afraid to call talent from everywhere. We go to the to the forwards
02:11and we know that now he looks back to Mexico. He brings Kate Cowell. He also
02:16brought Brandilyn basketball, playing in Chivas and Monterrey. Combining with
02:20Pulisic, combining with other European-level talent, I think that this
02:25is an important, you know, message from Pochettino saying, like, I'm gonna bring
02:29the player that I feel fits for the game. You know, he's playing CONCACAF. These
02:33players come from a league that matches that style of play. I think it was a good
02:37call from Pochettino. The U.S. national team will be facing Jamaica. They're
02:41going to Kingston. That's never an easy task for them. They have a new coach and
02:46they also have a talent that we all know from West Ham United, former Chicharito
02:50teammate, Miguel Antonio.
