00:00Where would you rate the MLS compared to the leagues like, so Premier League and then you've
00:10got the Champions League, you got those tiers and then you got La Liga, you got, I mean.
00:18When you talk about the actual quality of the product and the play that's on the field,
00:24it isn't even close to those leagues.
00:27It's not.
00:28And it's not a bad thing.
00:30It's just that in those countries, that is the number one sporting event.
00:36That is what every kid that grows up in England and Spain, France and everywhere, they are
00:43playing soccer.
00:44That's it.
00:45Now, things have changed in those places.
00:48Haven't we seen basketball become a bigger thing now in Europe to now we're starting
00:53to see kids from France and back-to-back years be the number one pick in the NBA draft?
00:58If I would have told you that 25 years ago, you would have said, no, absolutely not.
01:01You've got to be kidding me that France is going to have number one.
01:04But it's just, it's the flip.
01:06Now over here, you're getting some soccer talent like Pulisic, etc.
01:10But it's taken a slow amount of time to get there.
01:12All of these French kids coming into the NBA, we're going to be speaking French within three
01:17years.
01:18We won't even be able to go out.
01:19You won't even be able to speak English anymore in America.
01:22You'll be speaking French.
01:23People care about soccer in America.
01:30Do all of them necessarily care about specifically the MLS?
01:34Not every single one of them.
