00:00T.C. and Dina B backstage, stars and strings, Riley Green. Riley, over, under ten times
00:09a day, someone will walk up to you, tell you they are drunk, and they look like they love
00:14you.
00:15Under ten.
00:16Under ten?
00:17Under ten, yeah.
00:18People don't come up to you now with the massive hit that you have.
00:22No, it happens.
00:23Okay.
00:24I would say we're more like six or seven times a day.
00:27Okay.
00:28Oh, okay.
00:29Have you ever been a pick-up line guy yourself?
00:30Because, I mean, the duet is kind of the female pick-up line version, I mean, get right to
00:34the point.
00:35But have you ever been a pick-up line guy yourself?
00:36Have you ever needed that?
00:37I think I get nervous.
00:38Okay.
00:39No, my dad, he's got them.
00:41Okay.
00:42My dad throws up pick-up lines on any girl he's ever met.
00:46He told some girl the other day she was so pretty he couldn't hear out of his left eye.
00:49Okay.
00:50Which I don't know what that means, but...
00:52I like it.
00:53Makes you think.
00:54I like it.
00:55Conversation starter.
00:56Does your father look like you?
00:57Yeah.
00:58He looks more like an older Harrison Ford kind of thing going, I'm going more for like
01:05a Quigley Down Under kind of thing.
01:09So not just the duet, but of course, damn good day to leave.
01:12Also, you have two songs that are on fire right now.
01:15Absolute fire.
01:16That's cool.
01:17How does it feel to...
01:18That's cool.
01:19Yeah, welcome.
01:20That's fine.
01:21There's news to you.
01:22So how does it feel?
01:23I mean, two songs, people, I mean, of course they've sang songs back to you for years,
01:25but two simultaneously at the same time that are kind of going, and you're connecting
01:29kind of with two different audiences as well.
01:31Well, what's cool about having two songs that are getting played on the radio and inside
01:35the top 20, whatever they are, is you get to really see them grow every week.
01:39Every single show you play, they sing it louder and louder.
01:41I remember the first single I had was, there was this girl that was a big hit for me, and
01:44I got to watch that as it went up the chart.
01:46So that's always exciting, and you got something to look forward to every week.
01:49See, you know, as the song kind of climbs, you know, how much louder fans are singing
01:52those songs.
01:53Yeah.
01:54Why do you think it is that everybody wants you and Ella Langley to be a couple?
01:59Because me, I don't want you guys to be a couple.
02:02Like females out there, single females.
02:04You wouldn't want to do that to me.
02:05No, no, no.
02:06No offense, Ella.
02:07She doesn't want these problems.
02:08No offense, Ella.
02:09But single girls out there, I wouldn't want you to be, I want to pretend like you're just,
02:12you're ours.
02:13Well, the same reason I think that like George and Tammy and Johnny Cash and June Carter
02:17and Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, it's like everybody just wants to like believe in that like couple.
02:21Yeah.
02:22You know, if you can have that.
02:23If you've got two songs together, they're doing really well.
02:25You're like, you love me and don't mind if I do.
02:27And you know, it's a cool thing to see fans really latching on to both of us kind of at
02:32the same time.
02:33We've been on tour together.
02:34We're going back on tour together.
02:35So it's really cool to watch that kind of happen.
02:38And I'm really happy for her success too.
02:40And speaking of couples, how are the doggies?
02:43They're good.
02:44I haven't seen a lot of Carl and Carol Ann lately.
02:45My sister and my mom send me videos all the time with them chasing the goats and pigs
02:49around.
02:50But they're, they're hanging in there.
02:52I'm sure Carl's ready to get back on the road.
02:53He knows he's famous.
02:54I think he's missing the spotlight a little bit.
02:56They're more famous than us for sure.
02:57I was actually hoping to meet them tonight.
03:00Everybody is.
03:01My meet and greets are just people looking at my feet to see if Carl's there.
03:03They don't even look at me anymore.
03:05Speaking of duets though.
03:06So with the tongs being so big right now, how do you make through a show when a female
03:11is not with you?
03:12Are you going to ask Jordan Davis tonight to maybe step into that?
03:15Well, I usually put a wig on.
03:16Oh, okay.
03:17Got it.
03:18But no, I mean, I usually don't have Jordan Davis at my disposal either.
03:21That's so true.
03:22But I've gotten some fans out of the crowd.
03:25Cool.
03:26That goes one of two ways.
03:27Sometimes it's really good and sometimes it's not.
03:30I think probably the best fan step in we had was in Australia the other day.
03:34We had some couple of girls get up and they just stole the show.
03:37Okay.
03:38Did you do a shoeie?
03:39I did.
03:40Oh.
03:41Kind of.
03:42A clean boot?
03:43I did a clean boot and I put a cup in the boot.
03:44Oh.
03:45So I cheated.
03:46Cheater.
03:47So you're doing the kosher shoeie.
03:48It was still gross though.
03:49Yeah.
03:51I don't drink coffee out of a boot at home now.
03:52I'm not into it.
03:53Well, speaking of drinking, you're running a bar.
03:56A drinker.
03:57No.
03:58You're an alcoholic.
03:59No.
04:00No.
04:01How about being a part of a bar now?
04:02Oh, yeah.
04:03That's what you were talking about.
04:04Yeah.
04:05Yeah.
04:06That's what I was talking about.
04:07No, that's cool.
04:08I forgot about that too.
04:09That's cool.
04:10You know, I got a lot of good stuff going on right now.
04:11You do.
04:12Welcome.
04:13You do.
04:14You do.
04:15You can just call us every morning.
04:16We'll make you all the good things in life.
04:17We'll make you feel good every morning.
04:18Yeah.
04:19Thank y'all.
