00:00Switching over to commander's offense, as previously mentioned, 191 in the air for Jaden
00:07Daniels.
00:08Then you got Robinson who started to come alive on the ground, 63 rushing yard, 16 carries,
00:11one touchdown.
00:12Eckler being the leader in terms of wide receiving yards, 89 through the air through eight receptions.
00:18Ertz does get his expectation, 47 through the air, six receptions.
00:22So how would we even gauge this prop wise moving forward?
00:25Because this was a disaster.
00:26I mean, McLaurin had one reception for 10 yards.
00:29And beforehand, you and I talked at halftime, like, was this a good Eagles defense thing?
00:34Was this, you know, what was his role tonight?
00:35Because we didn't figure it out.
00:37Part of it may be they know that the Eagles defense strength is the corners.
00:42And they're going to say, hey, we're just going to focus on the running backs and the
00:45tight end with Zach Ertz.
00:46And they got Bates in there involved a little bit.
00:48We're not even going to test the part that they know, we know that they're good at.
00:52And so we're not even going to force the ball to McLaurin, because that's an issue.
00:56And also, the play calling are these shorter underneath routes, where maybe that's not
01:00the role that they need McLaurin for.
01:02So you know, Vinny, if we have the quarterback props, if we can flip that up to Daniels,
01:06I believe he goes over his completions and his attempts, and he fell a bit short of his
01:11yards, right?
01:12Yeah, 224.
01:13So he falls under his yards.
01:14He goes over on his completions and over on his attempts, because what we've spoken about
01:18Daniels is they have built this offense around him with Cliff Kingsbury, where they want
01:23to be a quick, easy, simple, moving the chains type offense, where we don't have these explosive
01:28plays.
01:29So that does limit his yards, but it does bring in the completions or attempts on a
01:33week-to-week basis.
01:34Yeah.
01:35And that was something else you and I have talked about immensely here on Pro Football
01:37today.
01:38Depending on what the game has been, at least one consistent feedback has been, oh my gosh,
01:43he's pretty efficient.
01:44He's quite efficient.
01:45So where do they go from here is the question, because you've got the commanders that are
01:48getting ready to face the Cowboys, a Cowboys team that honestly, the Eagles just put a
01:52beating on.
01:53A number of teams did.
01:54And before this game, you would have said the commanders are talented enough to make
01:57that a game.
01:58Then you got the Titans.
02:00We know what that could be.
02:01And then the Saints, the Eagles again, Falcons, and they close out the season with the Cowboys.
02:06A part of me wants to say they should stick with what they know works.
02:10And that's keeping things safe.
02:12They don't need to stress the offense.
02:14But at a certain point, I want to see them like, hey, we need to be a little bit uncomfortable.
02:19We need to learn how to win in different ways.
02:21We need to be able to take deep shots to keep up with an offense like the Eagles.
02:25So if moving the ball slowly can work at times, if it doesn't, what does that mean?
02:30We have to try something different.
02:31That means taking shots.
02:32That means expanding the playbook a little bit.
02:34So while things are good, they can be better.
02:37So if you have to learn how to win in multiple ways, that will be the best growth for the
02:41offense overall.
02:42Yes.
02:43And I think that's a great thing to put into perspective because it was kind of talked
02:45about during the Lions game previously when the Lions were kind of having a slow start.
02:50And then all of a sudden, they're like, you know what, this is great adversity because
02:52these are the wins.
02:53These are the gritty wins and losses that get you in the postseason.
02:56Exactly.
02:57And this is a great learning opportunity for the commanders and a young quarterback in
03:00Jaden Daniels.
