00:00Because Thursday is CDC Day, we will bring to you the programs and projects of Clark Development Corporation
00:06for the continued development of the Clark Freeport Zone towards a new Philippines.
00:12Let's talk about the Workplace Relations and Employees' Compensation Program in the Clark Freeport Zone.
00:17Let's take a look.
00:23In the continuation of the program of Clark Development Corporation
00:27to strengthen the workplace relations and stability within Clark Freeport,
00:32the National Conciliation and Mediation Board of NCMB Region 3 successfully held
00:40a labor seminar on the theme of Fostering Workplace Stability,
00:44Exploring Employees' Compensation Program, and Alternative Dispute Resolution Strategies.
00:50More than 109 participants from 69 Clark-based companies attended the seminar.
00:57The purpose of this seminar is to provide a comprehensive knowledge about the Employees' Compensation Program
01:04and to update employers on the most effective ways of Alternative Dispute Resolution.
01:10Among the topics discussed in the seminar are labor management cooperation,
01:15work-related accidents or injuries, grievance machinery, and conciliation mediation services.
01:21As appointed by CDC President and CEO Attorney Andes V. Esti de Banadera,
01:26the CDC Vice President for Administration and Finance, Jose Miguel de la Rosa,
01:31emphasized the importance of these activities to maintain industrial peace and stability
01:37not only for the residents but also for the employees of the Freeport.
01:43In Clark Development Corporation, the labor-management relationship is important.
01:50The truth is, we see that our allocators are increasing.
01:54In our number, in the last number, over 1,000.
01:57And more than 100,000 employees.
02:00So, the well-being of the employees, the well-being of the management is always important.

03:02Ang pinaka-purpose natin dito is to foster industrial peace.
03:08Alam naman natin na ang NCMB, ang paunahing ahensya ng gobyerno
03:14na in-charge sa pinatawag na Alternative Dispute Resolution.
03:19Ito yung pagsisettle ng mga problema or concerns ng manggagawa at ng management
03:26ng hindi na pumupunta sa korte at hindi umabot sa matagalang demandahan, litigation.
03:35Ayun naman kay NCMB Region 3 Regional Director Othello Tongyo Jr.,
03:40mahalaga ang ganitong mga aktibidad upang maibahagi ang tamang informasyon
03:45ukos sa conciliation, mediation at iba pang mga pamamaraan sa paglutas ng labor disputes.
03:52Sa pamamagitan ng pagpibigay ng tamang kaalaman sa mga manggagawa at employers,
03:56mas mapapadali ang kooperasyon at pagtugon sa mga pangangailangan.
04:00So ito intended po siya sa mga locators ng CDC.
04:04So minabuti po namin na mag-conduct ng ganitong activity for awareness ng mga locators nila.
04:11Kasi ang ADR po is all about Alternative Dispute Resolution mechanism or system
04:18na magiging kapakinabang sa mga locators dito.
04:25Kasi kasama po sa ADR, yung labor management cooperation,
04:29yung grievance machinery and voluntary arbitration,
04:32at saka yung conciliation mediation services ng National Conciliation and Mediation Board.
04:37So ito mga programs na ito makakatulong para sa pag-abot ng industrial peace sa bawat kumpanya dito sa Clark.
04:47Samantanang nagpahayag din ang kanilang reaksyon ang mga participants ng naturang seminar.
04:52Actually yung mga ganitong seminar makalaking tulong siya sa mga company natin dito sa,
04:57hindi lang dito sa Clark, pang kabuan, currently Region 3.
05:00So ang pagandaan doon, yung mga from our top management or from our government,
05:06so yung mga binibigay nilang mga rules o mga binibigay nilang guides and tips
05:11is magagamit natin sa mga company natin.
05:14So para makagawa ng magandang program, para rin sa mga employees natin.
05:18So magandang namin tulad niya, malaking tulong.
05:21I would like to thank and congratulate CBP for this successful seminar na binibigay nila sa amin mga locators dito sa Clark.

05:57Samantala pinang bahagi naman ng patuloy na pagsusumikap ng CDC na palakasin ang workforce ng Clark,
06:04inilunsad rin kamakailan ang training induction program
06:07para sa Shielded Metal Arc Welding NC1 sa CDC Skills Training Center.
06:12Sa pakikipagtulungan ng Clark Development Corporation at Technical Education and Skills Development Authority Provincial Training Center ng Guagua,
06:20matagumpay na inilunsad ang nasabing programa noong October 21.
06:25Layunin ang programang ito na palakasin ang kasanayan ng mga manggagawang teknikal sa Metro Clark area.

06:43layon ng CDC na makapaghatid ng mga kwalifikadong manggagawa para sa mga locators ng Clark,
06:48kasabay ng pagtulong sa mga inisiyatibang panglipunan.
06:52Dahil sa patuloy na paglago ng mga proyekto at konstruksyon sa Clark,
06:55binigyan din ni Sarmiento ang lumalaking pangangailangan sa mga trabaho may espesyal na kasanayan.
07:01Hinikaya din niya mga trainees na gamitin ang oportunidad na ito upang higit pang mapalawak ang kanilang kaalaman at kasanayan.
07:09Samantala nagpahayag ng pasasalamat si TESDA Provincial Director Attorney Eric Hueda sa CDC sa pagsuporta sa naturang programa.
07:18Ang training ay bahagi ng Specialized Training and Employment Program for Underprivileged Persons
07:24na nilagdaan noong September 18 sa pagitan ng CDC at TESDA PTC Guagua.
07:29Bukod sa Shielded Metal Art Welding, NC1 at NC2,
07:33ang kasunduan ay naglalayon ding magbigay ng pagsasanay sa Industrial Sewing Machine Operations.
07:42Ang Clark ay hindi lang sentro ng negosyo at turismo,
07:46kundi puntahan na rin ito ng mga mahihilig sa sasakyan at motorsiklo.
07:50Ito ang muling pinatunayan ng katatapos lamang na Clark International Festival of Speed o SIFOS
