00:00TESDA and Clark Development Corporation have reached an agreement to increase the number of qualified employees in the Clark Freeport Zone.
00:11This is Shane Frias Velasco of PIA for Panbansa News.
00:16The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority, or TESDA, and Clark Development Corporation, or CDC,
00:24have agreed to increase the number of qualified employees in the Clark Freeport Zone.
00:34This is in line with the agreement for the construction of the Regional Tibet Innovation Center.
00:40According to TESDA Director General Jose Francisco Fico Pinites,
00:44this is in line with the Enterprise-Based Education and Training Act
00:49that was passed by President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. as part of Republic Act 12063.
00:56This is in line with the fact that TESDA's collaboration with training schools and industries
01:02will enable a new generation of skilled workers to thrive in the industry they are currently looking for or need.
01:11Initially, P2M was allocated to the Tibet Innovation Center within the Clark Freeport Zone.
01:20This was freely used by the CDC, according to which the USOFRAC Agreement was added.
01:27The Asian Development Bank, or ADB, will also help in its construction.
01:32According to CDC President and CEO Agnes Devanatera,
01:36this is in line with the fact that it is currently costing P73 billion
01:43for the construction of new buildings within the Clark Freeport Zone.
01:49This will require P15,000 new qualified workers.
01:54According to Devanatera, this will require P5,000 for the maintenance,
02:00repair, and overhaul of the so-called MROs of the airplanes under the Tibet.
02:07This needs to be started immediately.
02:10Now, international and domestic commercial flights will continue to be added to the Clark International Airport.
02:19From the Philippine Information Agency of Luzon, Shane Frias Velasco for Balita Kong Bansa.
02:27Thank you very much, Shane Frias Velasco.
