00:00In the world of sports, more than 50 thrower-athletes participated in the world-class facility of New Clark City Athletic Stadium in Tarlac

00:17In the upcoming start of the 87th UAAP Athletics Event,

00:22JL Ballelo's preparation was in full swing to defend his title in the hammer throw event.

00:28Even though he is a freshman student, he is doing his best to show his skills in the competition.

00:35I was under pressure since I was the gold medalist for the past two years in the hammer event.

00:41And right now, I know that my event is very competitive. I have a lot of opponents in the hammer throw.

00:56JL and Rachel were one of the more than 50 student-athletes who came to Tarlac

01:02for the one-day training organized by Fight Throws For All.

01:06It was their first time participating in the New Clark City Athletic Stadium Tournament.

01:11This facility is world-class.

01:14Its standards are international.

01:19In a way, when our athletes compete there,

01:23they are also exposed to the international type of competitions.

01:26And of course, the overall feel of the venue.

01:38for the UAAP edition this year.
