Jonny Drury caught up with Albion fans after their 2-1 victory at Hull.
The Baggies raced out of the blocks on Humberside, with Karlan Grant and Josh Maja firing them into the league.
Joao Pedro pegged them back before the break, and in the second half Albion had to grind out the victory.
It was Albion's first win in nine games and avoids what would have been a club record eight draws in a row.

00:00Chris, we needed a win, we got there in the end, is that the main take away really, just
00:13relief?
00:14I think there's an Ian Holloway quote about taxis and coffees, it didn't matter how it
00:19came today, you've just got to get a win, they're in a mess, this was a big big opportunity
00:25to just get that monkey off our back and get back to winning ways, we've done that, and
00:31do you know what, during this run, we haven't even lost that much ground, we were into fourth
00:36now, so have we got a little bit lucky, yeah, but we haven't been losing games as well,
00:42so that's huge today, and going into the international break, hopefully it gives us confidence that
00:47we can start again when we come back.
00:50Absolutely mate, I thought we were playing very well, first 20-25 minutes, we just need
00:56to take our foot off the pedal a little bit, their crosses from their right hand side were
01:01causing us problems, that's where the goal came from, but I don't care, we've got there,
01:07we've got there.
01:08We did something a bit different, it was good to see Grant maybe playing a bit of a different
01:11ball with Johnson out wide, it'd be the first half, Paul probably again shaded the possession
01:18but yeah, it was just about getting the wind in the end.
01:21A bit more impetus, a bit braver, taking risks, that's kind of what we've been lacking a little
01:30bit.
01:31He went with the sort of two up front, I know Maggio was pulled back into the ten, but it
01:34was a little bit of a change of shape, it was kind of what we finished with against
01:38Burnley on Thursday night, and as you say it was a little bit more adventurous, and
01:43I think that's what you've got to really draw the positives from, because at 2-0 we're cruising,
01:48then Alex Palmer starts doing some crazy things in distribution, and we put ourselves
01:53under a little bit of pressure, and to be honest, that's just nerves that come from
01:58not having won in ages, and the second half you see, that's just a team that wants to
02:03get over the line, you're not going to be free flowing, you're not going to blow teams
02:08away when you're eight without a win, but fair play to this team, the one thing they've
02:12showed all the way through this run is that they can defend, and what they showed second
02:16half is that they can defend.
02:17Absolutely, I agree, I think the whole, we started to press from the front, didn't we?
02:22We started to press from the front, Ike Johnson as well, he played very well, so that's probably
02:27his best he's played since he's come back to us I think, I'm pleased, I just want to
02:31get back on the coach and enjoy the three points.
02:33Yeah, they certainly ground out, you mentioned there about the going two up front, it's not
02:37something that Corbijn's done a lot in his album, well very rarely at all, is it something
02:42you'd like to see more of now moving forward, certainly against teams like Hull?
02:45Yeah, I like Masur in the ten, I think the way he links the play is absolutely brilliant,
02:52and I think Grant works as a striker as long as he's facing the goal, he can't play with
02:57his back to goal as a centre forward, but if you get him facing the opposition's goal
03:01he's a big, big threat, and we've got a defensive goal that we haven't seen a great deal of
03:05as well, I think we've probably got more options in the space in terms of the shape than we've
03:13probably shown in recent weeks, and I think it was interesting to see that today, and
03:18look, it got us 2-0 up, so you can't knock it.
03:21I think it just gives you more bodies in the box, doesn't it, and more options, so many
03:27times we've got up the field then got it out and they either crossed it in and no-one's
03:30been there, or just been outnumbered and we've lost it and we're on the defensive again.
03:35I think I said, I tweeted you Jonny, on a response to say that Magi drops two, everyone
03:39drops two, we need someone who's running behind, and I think today was a little bit
03:42different with Magi dropping, Colin bombing on a bit, so I'm happy, I'm happy with that, mate.
